The one thing that we need to be wary of though is the continuing rise in 2nd hand values, one newspaper this weekend said they are up 20%, AJ Bell's latest podcast say that Autotrader estimates that they are up 30%. On the one hand there are less miles being driven, but if replacement values are up, even by "just" 20%, it is cerainly not good news.
I am still looking forward to the figures soon, and am not selling, but I am reining in my expectations a bit

If you google this you'll see the D Mail appears to be a bit late, it was announced in October last year, Morning Advertiser & BBC had it on the 8th & Western Telegraph 14th October, all saying 99 pubs for sale.
Thus the market must have this priced in, as I assume it is what the DM is referring to ?

All VCT issues are on a bit of a tear at present with the end of the tax year but it is further grist to the Mercian mill

Mercia have thoughtfully provided shareholders with, albeit a tad late, a very pleasant Christmas present.

Thanks for your thoughts, given the last interim was 7.60 after 7.40 and last years final was 14.70 a divi of 15 looks on the cards as a banker, but could certainly be a bit higher, 15.40 would make a nice round 23p for the year ?

Almost certainly yes but I seem to recall that the % of Faradion given to the eis investors was very low so probably not terribly significant.

What is your guess on the divi, you normally have a good handle on dividend matters ?

It is indeed pleasing to see the directors deals, even more pleasing to see a 40 in the shareprice again, even if only on the offer side !
