If you're up for a punt come over and join us at MWH. Loads of fun and entertainment to be had there and a possibility of doubling your money. Possibility of halving it too but DYOR!
Balancing the books after close. I guess the jury's still out on whether this is a good or bad thing for PRU but, personally, I'm in for the long run.
551.5 - 558.0. Flurry of buying activity in last 15 mins. Normally the other way round with peeps worrying about what might in in the weekend's newspapers.
I still see this as cheap. There's some BIG buys on the order book right this moment.

Trading Update Further to the announcement made on 20 November 2009, Engel East Europe N.V. ('Engel East Europe' or 'the Company'), the AIM-quoted Central and Eastern European ('CEE') residential property developer (EEE:LN), regrets to announce that its financial condition remains weak and that it is unable at the moment to meet its obligations to its employees and service providers. As part of its efforts to receive additional interim funding, Engel East Europe has approached Azorim with a request for financial support. No agreement has yet been reached with Azorim regarding this assistance. In addition, the Company has been notified that a group of investors is currently examining the possibility of investing in Engel Resources and Development Limited ("ERD"), which owns 100% of the Company's immediate parent, Engel General Developers Limited. The investors are in the process of performing a due diligence exercise on ERD and its subsidiaries (the "Group"). If the investment is made, the Company expects that the investors will provide financial support to the whole Group, including Engel East Europe. However it cannot be guaranteed that the investment will take place or that sufficient funding support will be provided to Engel East Europe even if the investment is made. A further announcement will be made in due course. ENDS
As with every share you have to look further than results. People bought into this knowingresults were to be good. They bought in in the hope of profit by way of a divi and that INCH would say 2010 was going to be as good. Neither happened so they sell out. Look at Pendragon yestersday. That was a pointer. People want results in the future as well as the past.
I'd have a spread bet on down - sorry! (I usually lose anyway)

Everyone knows the results are going to be good so that won't affect the SP unless they are spectacular which is unlikely having read their pre close statement. Yes, they expect to beat oirecast. What will send the SP flying is a dividend (unlikely as they have had a RI last year) and a statement that the year ahead is looking positive. Lookers announce results tomorrow so watch them closely. They should give a good indication of 2010 expectations.
I took an ultra cautious approach on Friday and sold up my 35k holding (at a decent profit). I was worried about media comment over this weekend as Lookers reveal their figures Tuesday followed ahead of INCH on Wednesday. Both Companies have already said that 2009 results will exceed market expectations and both expect 2010 to be 'challenging'. The reinstatement of a divi and an announcement that 2010 is turning out to be better than expected will see this one soar IMHO. I may well get back in Mon/Tues depending upon developments.
I don't want to ruin the party but please take into account that the SP may be affected by INCHs stated perception of how they see the rest of 2010 going. I have been in many shares that have announced fantastic returns only to see the share price fall because the Chairman says they face a 'difficult and challenging year ahead'. If they announce a divi that will have a positive effect. GLA and watch the press this weekend for clues. Long term though, no probs in my eyes.
Relax!
Hold tight boys. Another desperate attempt to get yours shares. Bumping it up didn;t work so let's have a shake.
Was he any relation to Cardinal Sicola, the one they couldn't make Pope?
That's a tough way to learn a lesson but thanks for the info. I'm sure that a lot of people don't realise this, I certainly didn't. Mat still not be too late to get back in and take advantage of cheap RI shares. It's only just making back the 8% it lost on Tuesday that's without the 17% on Monday.
That's right. Or someone spilled their coffee on the keyboard and it happened while they were mopping it up. Joking apart, it must have happened somewhere, sometime.
It's Friday. MMs are bored and need a bit of excitement. Just their way of stirring up the market and having some fun.
Can you ask your brother if a divi is going to be paid???? After a RI I'd be surprised but......
