Seems good performing shares are out of favour. You need to get into a good 'gamble' share if you want an active BB. But I'll stick it out here.
I'm only in here for a couple of thousand, nothing heavy so I'm happy to let it ride. Can see upward of 200p within 3/4 months and 250p+ this time next year?
.... if you were heavily invested in here and now sitting on a large paper loss you could call it 'a tree shake' or 'market manipulation' or 'a fantastic opportunity to average down'! LOL!
This SP has doubled this year and there will be an element of profit taking here. They're saying that the past was good but the last quarter will be as expected. There's nothing new in here that wasn't already known so people will be off looking for easier gains. Not to say that this time next year the SP won't have improved yet again. Perhaps the market was expecting a bit more than what was reported.

This certainly seems flavour of the day. Bid rumours back on the table or just the Brazilian influence?
But you would have thought that if it was bad news the shares would have been suspended on both exchanges.
Gonna sit on the cash now. Wait and see if this latest FTSE bubble bursts.
There may be a few long term holders who disagree with this guy! http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/spice-founder-says-not-unhappy-with-cinven-offer-reuters_molt-a2484497591a.html
http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/thursday-tips-round-up-gem-diamonds-bowleven-digilook-54bb26f117b0.html The Independent is rating GEMD as a buy. Sensible people.
Stronger demand for diamonds will prove good for GEMD http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/asia-diamond-thirst-behind-rio-s-800-million-spend-afp-6eed6461fa6e.html?x=0
This should encourage a little bit of interest today, surely? http://www.investegate.co.uk/Article.aspx?id=201009140700066013S
196ct White Diamond Recovered! http://www.investegate.co.uk/Article.aspx?id=201009070700092448S Just goes to show what the future holds.
Hope you're right about that. My missus wants a new car!
I'm in heavy here and confident of a good return given time so am prepared to wait a few years if necessary. It's a good Company, rich in assets and IMO we'll be rewarded for patience once the financial recovery comes along. Bagged a few more shares when it dipped under 200. It's just not in favour at the me.
I'm going back to retake my Maths degree. Seems awful cheap to me.
I reckon nothing less than 85p will interest them.
