No not at all I'm going with there's (potentially/possibly/maybe) positive news due this month on Amapa so it's Amapa or bust for me & if Amapa follows everything else down the pan it'll make no difference to me who'll be running what pittance is left .... Evergreen's lost nearly 80% of it's listing value, our EMH holding will just about cover the MEZZ loan & it's pretty much Adios Sonora .... so whilst we're only just surviving the storm of their failures attempting to oust the BoD right now would simply be akin is p!ss!ng into that storm & having to deal with that as well in my opinion ...if Amapa fails who'll give a toss one way or the other as there'll be nothing left anyway.

...probably due in part at least to us selling down to pay the MEZZ loan .... 'that's another fine mess you got us into' .... probably the reason for all the p!ss poor raises as well because we've no longer got sufficient collateral to ring fence against a further drawdown .... what a pickle .... Kiran's the opposite of Midas eh ... but it is what it is until Amapa sorts itself out for better or worse now, for me at least 😁

I can knock/slate/complain as well as anybody on performance, history BoD etc (as is very evident & there for all to see) but now is not the time for me, as much as it might appeal Amapa needs to develop & unfold unhindered and without background squabbling at this time for me ... but good luck gathering your merry band of followers anyways looks like there's at least 12 ... the 'Apostles' or 'The Dirty Dozen' ? 😁

.... & the current 'average' settlement time for ICSID is 3.2yrs but I'd lay money on at a bookies it'll take longer with Mexico obstructing/defending it all the way, and then even after (and if) a successful reward there's a timeframe to actual payment which could take years & is still subject to appeal etc etc & could go to further court proceedings ..... don't hold your breath 2028 earliest IMO ... possibly later almost certainly no earlier .... some of us will be pushing up daisies by then, personally hoping to be outta here long before & enjoying a nice Single malt ...

Exactly & I think apart from the years it'll probably take the concern for me would be the likelihood it wouldn't cover much more than expenditure (if that) considering the plans for the JV areas that existed prior to cancellation & then that measured against the legal costs (which potentially could get awarded you'd hope) .... just a bit of a sorry mess best forgotten IMO .... on the plus side I guess we'll not have to deal with the corruption & cartels prevalent in Mexico .... didn't BCN have an employee(s) kidnapped at one point in the dim & distant 🤔 ...

....indeed Dallas ... apart from a very loose association & considering one of them won't be in power for much longer & the other hopefully won't be again I'm not really sure what the assertion around AMLO/Trumps personal traits & interactions have to do with a resolution to Sonora either so see that as somewhat irrelevant also ... but whatever hope you can cling onto I guess.. I'm still thinking it'll be 3/4 years minimum yet .... roll on Amapa providing an exit.

....when they start is irrelevant, you could argue they've already been ongoing for 3 years, it's when they'll finish & how that matters .... You've been saying/expecting/hoping it's going to be sorted soon since the fiasco began ..... still years away in my opinion, regardless of whether they've been discussing/challenging it since it was announced as in my opinion or whether that's still to begin as you seem to suggest.

But hey ho, I'm hoping to be out on the back of Amapa long before then....but will keep an eye open on it during the next 4 years (said at the outset it'd be 7/8 years IMO with a poor outcome & still reckon so).

Updates on Sonora Project in Mexico

In January 2024, three controlled-subsidiaries of the Company incorporated in Mexico

(the “Mexican Subsidiaries”) filed the annulment claims with the Federal Court of

Administrative Justice in Obregón, Sonora City (“TFJA”) against the cancellation

of nine lithium mine concessions. The legal counsels of the Company stated that the

decision made by the Secretary of Economy in Mexico (“Secretary of Economy”)

to maintain the mining concessions’ cancellations decision issued by the DGM is not

the final outcome under Mexican law, and the TFJA will make its final decision. The

legal counsels of the Company believe that the annulment claim filed by the Mexican

Subsidiaries based on Mexican law, analogous precedent, and factual evidence may

lead them to prevail before a neutral court, but they are still unable to make a judgment

on the final outcome of the annulment claim.

In May 2024, Ganfeng International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Bacanora Lithium

Limited and Sonora Lithium Ltd., the controlled subsidiaries of the Company, initiated

an arbitration proceeding before International Centre for Settlement of Investment

Disputes (“ICSID”) in respect of a series of laws, regulations, and related measures

issued by Mexico, which effectively nationalized lithium resources, impacted the

operation of the project, and resulted in the cancellation of the mineral concessions

held by the Mexican Subsidiaries. Recently, the Company received an email from

ICSID confirming that the arbitration case has been officially registered, and ICSID

has published relevant information about the arbitration on its official website. As

of the date of this announcement, the Secretary General of ICSID has registered the

arbitration. The next step is to constitute the tribunal and to brief the tribunal on the

parties’ respective positions in written and oral phases. The hearing has not yet taken

place and no decisions have been issued. The hearing of arbitration has not yet taken

place and there is uncertainty in the decisions of arbitration and the actual amount of

compensation. The Board will actively pay attention to the progress of the matter and

fulfil its information disclosure obligations in a timely manner.
