Steve, just my opininion but wouldn't this paragraph say otherwise.... The Board is currently reviewing options as to what it may do with the proceeds of the sale of Civex Group Holdings and looks forward to updating shareholders shortly on progress of the sale and future investment opportunities.

My broker has placed a 'BLOCK' on my buying of these shares but I'm still able to sell.... never seen this before - can anyone advise? If I'd noticed earlier I'd have rung them... I assume I'd still be able to buy if it was over the phone??

Angling Direct (AD) on-line were a whole different kettle of fish (pun(s) intended) clear indication of what was available & in stock to ship.... did get a subsequent message apologising that a hook disgorger was out of stock when picking but remainder delivered within days, customer service friendly & phone answered promptly. No knowledge of AD on high street though - but I'll be buying from them in the future - that's not intended as a recommendation just my intent - each to their own - not even sure why I'm posting here other than initially to vent my frustration at their performance & customer service - don't hold here & have no intention of doing so but again each to their own. As such this will be my last post .... GL to anyone invested.

well - after losing it & a bit of work I managed to get a full refund at least.... have to buy elsewhere instead which is a pfaff .. went from 1 short item one week to 3 short items the next to not responding to any communications..... Good luck to anyone invested here.... not me & I have no intention of doing so :-(

Having same problem .... order placed weeks ago.... phone constantly engaged saying high call problems.... hardly surprising... service is rubbish...

Funny man.... just as a final post it's hundreds NOW so not eally fussed which way this goes ..... up (at some point) would be great for me & any other holders here .... personally I don't see much positive to grab on to - the only light is that Cochrane has a vested interest in it coming good so if I lose the remaining hundreds I have here it'll cost him a lot more I think, you are correct he's not wet behind the ears .... doesn't always mean that rabbits appear out of hats though - I could site examples of so called saviours trying & failing miserably but there are too many to pick on any one as an example. I'm not generally accused of being a doom & gloom merchant but if it makes you feel better about or safer in your investment here that's fine & good luck with it. I won't be looking back in here again until the next news at least & if that's not good I probably won't bother then either so carry on with what you will I probably won't see it anyway.

Time will tell indeed.... 6p might turn out to be optimistic yet... maybe we'll end up on Asset Match with quarterly auctions, maybe a new monad will step forward, the takeover will be finalised, the disputed waters in the Philippines will be resolved to our benefit.... or maybe we're dust. I know where my thinking's leading me - but each to their own & wish all well regardless.

I think it's pretty clear what I mean....... I hope it's not all over but out of my original investment years ago when it was Wessex Is now in the hundreds so no big deal either way but if you think that the Nomad resigning & the position of the Philippines licence area isn't anything to be concerned about & that the 'proposed' takeover will happen & fix everything that's all fine & dandy & I wish you luck. For me I've seen several AIM companies fail & this don't look good - but it's just my opinion you are quite entitled to question it & have a different one.

Don't blame you for selling up - this is a risk currently however I'm not sure there's much controversy at the bottom of it - broadly the results of the 'new area' drilled didn't deliver on the hope so the rainbow chasing fly by night day traders & those looking for a quick buck have scuttled off back to their dens to chase the next rainbow in the making they think they see - that's all . . Those invested in the company or sitting on losses & here (trapped or otherwise) for the longer term are hanging on for the potential upside - that'd be my take on it anyways
