Yep I agree.... at that price at that time it would appear so....

This would be part of the considerations by the takeover panel as far as I'm aware....... although you'll no doubt get different views from others who seem to want to believe that we're all nothing but lamb's to the slaughter with no choice & no protection...... personally if I felt strongly that was the case I wouldn't invest in AIM & simply sell up.

Slowey & Bird gone..... all I can say is thank fxxk for that at least.... Slowey should've have gone years ago IMO & Bird should never have joined, between the pair of them they got paid right royally to sink ORE as far as I'm concerned - & IMO should be held to account & investigated over the whole debacle, pair of clowns in my book. Sold up here already & took up my options with some change, I'm working on the assumption that a 250/1consolidation at the current bid/ask will make the new bid/ask 2.5/2.75p & if so will sell again ASAP then sit back & see what happens. Eric/Coli/DD/Troaj we had some laughs here especially when some turned up thinking they knew what was going to happen in OREWORLD better than us but joking aside we've all been taken up the port side... LoL :-) our paths will cross elsewhere I'm sure - GL guys.

Another way of dealing with this is to just sell enough to take up the total of the open offer .... that way you get the equivalent of what your current holding would be in terms of shares but have a lump left that effectively hasn't cost anything additionally .... I see that as a potentially better option than what I've done to be honest but I really haven't decided whether to take up the offer or not so sold the lot... I'm on a frequent dealer option so it's less than a tenner dealing cost if I take it up.... GL to you too buddy....

Of course you need to take dealing fees into account as well ... that could mean the difference between worth doing or not....

Hi Eric - I'd talk to your broker bud.... the qualification date for the open offer (21st Mar) has been & gone... my allocation in the open offer are sitting in my account waiting for me to say yes or no..... already sold up my entire holding & can buy it back at 2/3rds of what I sold for - question is will I .....still got until the 4th Apr to decide. Sorry Eric only just come out of shock but thank FCUK Bird & Slowey won't be on the board of the shell is the first one.... Talk of a JV on Mutsk is pie in the sky is my second one - if that was going to happen it would've already.... sale to a major .... ROFLMFAO & howl...is my third. Makes me cringe at the amount of stick we took when trying to warn people off here but secretly hoping they'd be proven right.......many thousands of pounds down after Slowey's Primarily & latterly Bird's combined performances & still sitting with around 30M of these pieces of confetti.... how many open offer shares does that entitle me to ...... I wonder if I'll be able to ask for any excess as well PMSL & that thought is one I need shooting for..... however & as a final thought ORE as a shell with 6 months of life potentially is a much better prospect in my opinion than ORE with Slowey & Bird still on the board. That's enough thoughts for now I need a lie down & massage.....

I get where you're coming from but I don't think our position would necessarily be any stronger if combined than it is today as 2 separate co's .... 20% of each co now equates to 20% of the combined co ....whilst retaining our 30% interest in the Sonora JV areas....

Hmmm yes maybe.... in any event I don't think a trade of 150k shares is going to hold or push the SP on a share with 7.5Bn in issue - but am concerned we might get low balled - more so than I used to be at least - unlike many I'm not so easy now with our Mexican investor ... they have enough shares to drip feed into the market to keep us down with plenty more available ..... then warrants as well.... they could play a game for years & we could be down in this range. Barksy1 - do you really think a BCN/EMH merger is on the cards.... not so sue personally, whilst there are potential synergies - they work in very different ways & which board would survive most intact.... it'd be a shame if it was BCN's which would just put the brakes on everything IMO. The combined value of the 2 would surely only be the sum of its component parts & perhaps even less if the market doesn't support it .... at least until one or other site gets off-takers..... if I can see anything though it'd be a takeover of EMH by BCN ultimately ... hope not as I personally prefer it as it is.... then if one gets into trouble for any reason the other survives without being dragged down as part of the whole.

If this is being 'kept' in the current trading range could it be to facilitate some low ball offer at maybe .75 claiming it as a 50% premium.... Hope not but if so hope there are sufficient shareholders with enough volume to out vote the whingers &/or those in for a quick profit who might find it attractive.... either that or Kiran just kicks it straight off the table.

Hear hear....... rhubarb rhubarb rhubarb :-) Slowey did nothing but waste money on DJ & then put the company into hibernation. Bird has presided over 2 humongous dilutions, the second one absolutely scandalous to the eye & understanding (IMO) & following another rainbow chase at Silverton I suspect the pot is empty again & we're considering results to decide what to do next!!!! I suspect a dumping of Silverton personally to cap it off another period of debacle & waste. The only hope is that someone rescues this dogs dinner on the back of Mutsk - but that doesn't look to.likely too soon as they just keep digging holes with effectively the same results in each one... Mutsk must look like a sieve by now. I love the smell of Napalm in the .morning & the annual influx of new posters thinking something great is going to happen here.. We all live in hope I guess - but the old saying 'abandon hope all he who enter here' always springs to my mind personally when I think about ORE......PMSL. As we say every year ... hope you're right & we're wrong, your profits will be our partial recovery but so far at least in that we've been correct as we roll gloomily into another year. All in my own opinion of course :-)
