Ha - small world huh.... I know they were successful - just not on the day of the Tattoo.... I think they were still in the design & test phase 50 years ago & they were kinda rushed in to Demo & to be fair I think the cages were fine - it was the vehicles that suffered !! LoL ..... still sunny here so back out now but not for long as the F1 start is 4....

Indeed.... he explained to me in some detail at a Tattoo in Larkhill some 50 years ago year how he was instrumental in the design of a cage for a landrover drop out the back of a Hercules enabling it to be driven straight out & into action in the field .... members later a Herc passed over & out popped 3 Landrovers in their cages .... as I recall none of then started after landing .... well I did tell you about believing him when his lips were moving LoL.... good day out though as I won first prize in the sack race. .. steady GFB I'm not challenging you to a race - you get far too much practice... Hey Frankie, glorious sunny day here.... To answer one of your questions a Bed & ISA is considered a single transaction so the benefit is that you only pay a single transaction fee .... there are occasions though when it might be preferable to treat & complete the 2 sides of the trade separately & I have done both in the past.... bought in my ISA & then later sold separately in my standard account due to the spread being larger than I wanted at the time I did the transfer ..... IVY did very well yesterday completing the BED & ISA with just a smidge of difference between the buy & sell price as (with my broker at least) there's no certainty over what the spread (difference between the sell & buy price) will be at the time of trade execution.... I guess it's possible he/she may have got a firm quote beforehand but if so it wouldn't have been with the broker I use :-)) All the best - out in the garden today clearing up Deer cack & repairing the lawn they've damaged with their rampaging LoL :-))

Mrs B..... I said yesterday my filter mechanism was to choose those posts &/or posters I elected to read & respond to ... this was slightly incorrect as I read most posts & more accurately I should've said I ignore those posts that mean nothing to me & have a few select posters I would rarely respond to (if ever) unless I was really bored or wanted to have a bit of wind up. You've just said yourself there are some really good people on this board & most very much are.... I would also say there are far more people who appreciate your efforts, research & time here than the very small number who don't. It sounds from below that you are going to take some 'me' time away from here & that's cool - I've done & do it often enough myself for a few days at a time or even a few weeks occasionally.... but if so do it because you want or choose to rather than as response to 2 or 3 posters who want to blame someone else for choosing the wrong stock at the wrong time to invest in for their dreams of wealth - the most correct answer to that is that anyone who buys or sells shares based on anything a poster on these boards posts is a fool & shouldn't be investing directly themselves..... DL & the BoD are responsible for the SP performance here now & over the years up & down!! absolutely no-one else & it's absolutely nothing to do with anything anyone posts here - although there are those that think it is - poor them.... Apologies this was supposed to be a short response - but the message was essentially that I think you should keep posting whatever, whenever & however you like, try to ignore the very small number who're looking to blame others for their investing mistakes & take more notice of the considerable number who appreciate your posts & general chit chat & banter - of which I am one - if you fancy a break however have a pleasant one. Don't think so - they'd need to announce any share issuances & the new total number of shares so that investors can work out if they need to make or revise their holdings notifications if necessary wouldn't they?
