Dallas DFS/BFS .... same thing & HAS haven't completed a DFS including the JV areas yet .... whether they will need/have/want to do this prior to exploiting/extracting from the JV area I don't know but I suspect not if they're already extracting & processing up to the limits of their 100% areas where they butt up against the JV area in any event especially as there are mining licences already in place ..... however of course you are correct we will need to reach agreement on a 'mining' agreement.

What Amapa should do IMO (assuming no show stoppers & progression) will provide us with the wherewithal & time to be able to be in a position to discuss exploitation with the ability of funding our corner of the costs from income..... of course it also provides time for HAS to potentially amass funds to buy us out of the JV areas at a more realistic value for us at a suitable point over the intervening period for them .... either way I kinda hope to be long gone & away from KDNC & this board by then ..... & of course it's necessary for our BoD to see this Amapa deal through (courts & banks permitting) without perhaps repeating some of what I consider to be the abject failings & failures over the last 5/6 years ...oops there I go again with my ranting LoL :-))

Obs...... hopefully this is all (& in time will prove to be) a storm in a teacup however don't underestimate the potential risks it presents ........

...... if your extract is from the texts of the NAFTA agreement (planned to be replaced at some point by USMCA) now that BCN is no longer domiciled in Canada (good move or not if this occurs?) I would doubt it's texts would provide a huge amount of protection over & above international law under it as it is an agreement between the Mexican, U.S. & Canadian governments according a platform & set of rules under which they treat & trade with each other's citizens & businesses within their borders so is pretty much applicable to them alone.

Although unrelated & a different country regime for the true 'potential' downside take a look at Rurelecs (RUR) struggles with the Bolivian government when Bolivia nationalized electricity production & kicked them out .... having invested huge resources & time in the project & subsequently in protests & court action Rurelec got awarded, what was $51M but finally accepted $31.5M after further delays & dragging of heels by Bolivia in compensation .... which at the time just about dug them out of the cack & debts they had amassed.

Additionally I'm not & not sure much would change my views on what's past or my opinions... as said yesterday it's more about what happens next now.... the past can't be changed (explained satisfactorily, unsatisfactorily or not)

Yes Frankie it costs Money to announce via an RNS ... so it is reasonable to expect there needs to be something newsworthy .... whether required or desired .... before one is issued ... hence the occasional long periods of silence .... anyone invested should really be keeping tabs on where everything's at so we shouldn't need constant reminding via costly unnecessary RNS's simply restating or reshuffling what we already know & is in the public domain.

For me personally though I think a short announcement saying a vessel is booked (prepaid almost certainly at this time) & scheduled for xx date as although not a 'required' announcement it is in my view newsworthy considering how many PI's we have & would have a good upside in sentiment or SP & possibly both .... of course it might dampen the future effect of simply announcing it has gone & is sold but personally I'd rather see a gradual sustainable increase in sentiment & SP rather than the peak & trough day traders create as they pile in & out on what they think is about to happen or has just appeared unexpectedly.... but hey ho I'm not making the decisions & who's to say my way of acting/thinking would be any better than any other.

One thing about bulk shipping of commodities is that there is often a chain of sale/purchase transactions some if which only happen 'on the Ocean' of course I have no knowledge of what the supply chain is for our Ore & maybe will never know whether it's direct from Dev to converter or via intermediaries (who all get a cut which may potentially explain any difference between Ore value & $ receipts)

..to be honest I don't think I ever doubted or questioned that movement of ore to the port hadn't already commenced & wouldn't be completed in time for shipment in July ......

@ Kiran .... be nice to know, and worth the fee of an an RNS in my opinion, if a vessel (& if so which one) was already secured & when scheduled ....as it's stated we're shipping early July that should pretty much be nailed down by now I'd have thought ....then those that wish & have been trying so far (for months - I'll refrain from the told you so comment .... oops!!) can finally locate the right one & follow it on a vessel tracker. LoL

Phew ...... that's betterer !! ... now at that event being reported it will he interesting to see what happens to our share price & especially if in the couple days/week before or after we get positive news (either way) on the agreement with or possible demotion of the Banks :-)

@Frankie..... to be fair I've always (& stated it) valued the JV's & also now the potential that Amapa presents..... my negativity has only ever been in respect to much of what's occurred & the results of it in the intervening years .

MrsB - as much as I'm tempted I don't think I'll bother, my distrust, lack of faith in the board & absolute abhorrence of Lenigas is well documented however all based on whats happened.... the history's there & documented as far as I'm concerned & I'll read, interpret & relay that as I see fit unless something/someone proves my reading or interpretation inaccurate or wrong...... it's more about what happens next, now..... believe it or not & for just about the first time in the last 6 years I'm fully behind & get Amapa.... the time, expenses & efforts being expended on it .... unfortunately that doesn't change anything that's happened previously or my opinions on much of it though.

LoL ... now that makes more sense .... perhaps he could clarify the reasoning/rationale for some of the decisions/paths they've made & taken which might put a halt to my ranting....

Obs.... I rather got the impression from MrsB reply that Kiran was confirming that the JV area wasn't being drilled at this time but rather HAS used the name of the region (covering more than one licence area) rather than the JV licence.

LoL MrsB .... that really made me roar & I have to say it is so very tempting ... though why he would invite what must be one of the most critical, vocal, down talking , p..$ taking posters of the board & it's performance over the last 6/7 years to converse with is a little beyond me..... I guess from his response (unless you've specifically mentioned me in your conversations for some reason) he has read & noted posters comments on this board so if genuine I've gotta say fair play to him, but I wonder why me & not someone more on-board with the board as it were.... there are plenty who think they've played the game well.

....& yes Frankie I have been buying, if Amapa comes off it should (in my view) present significant upside from here & I still think I have a reasonable (if not great) average here .... so if we can hang onto the Sonora/Yangi JV's long enough to reach exploitation (or a real valuable sale as they get nearer that point) they'll also pay dividends in the years to come & I'm kinda looking at Amapa not only to provide returns in the short/medium term but also to provide the bridge/basis of being able to hang in there & being able to pay our way on the JV's in due course....

.....so I did miss it then .... oh well ... probably got fogged out by reading what had happened since year end rather than what had occurred during the period of reporting .... LoL

MrsB - I suspect ultimately the onus was eventually placed on COE' s estate to prove they were entitled to the 3% rather than the other way round ... haven't been keeping track & to be honest I have little interest in in one way or the other.

....why oh why don't they get someone to proof read & sanity check announcements.... whilst it is unimportant, unnecessary & largely overlooked when it occurs during posting, often on this board (& often by myself), the spelling, grammatical & syntax errors in our 'market' announcements sets my teeth on edge.

That aside this is supposed to he our 2019 but is 'padded out' with post period activities, many of which are duplicated.... whilst there's definitive statements on our disposals of Clancy (Saigon/Rarex), Auroch & divestment of Greenland, our reduced holdings in EMH & MMS are evident, maybe I missed it but there's little (or no) mention of our sale of the remainder of our direct holding in BCN or how much we lost in the value of our direct investment.

Great looking RNS for anyone who doesn't have much knowledge of or puts little store on the history of where we were & how we've arrived at where we are.

To be fair Joe I think much of the 'disappointment' around Sonora & specifically our interests & relationship with BCN directly lies much with Gobbygas & Messiupio...

If it wasn't for the previous shysters continual gloating & manipulation over his stated control, string pulling, direction & outcomes he personally had over the Sonora project - his toxic, self interested narcissistic personality & way of operating (my opinion) may not have got so much negative attention( my view).

Following his scuttling off with his tail between his legs Messiupio & co (regardless of Kiran's protestations of non knowledge) made a ridiculous attempt to take over BCN (again my views).

Subsequently Messiupio himself has fired torpedoes into BCN's & our own SP in my opinion & in my opinion if intentional .... he deserves being removed.... if unintentional .... he deserves being removed ... but yet he remains & despite the many many other failures he & the board have presided over (dilution/loans/projects &,investments) ..... finally he/they may just have stumbled upon or been gifted something which might reward shareholders in the nearer future than anything else we currently have (notwithstanding that EMH's SP might improve to a point they're worth selling).
