I mentioned this concern back in April & stated it ... during our 'conversations' you &/or TC &/ or Dallas managed to convince me that our ' Interests' and 'involvement' in the project were protected under the court sanctioned JRP .. why have you now changed your mind on this??

Why @Obs .....scoping & feasability studies are 2 different but related elements...

Looks to me like there is a few things being ruled & finalised....

appeals gave been refused, blocks have been denied & liabilities have been reinforced .....

might be what we've been waiting for & potentially a reason berthing, loading & sailing dates pushed back .... HOWEVER trying to read & understand these court documents is hellish & it could just be the staff canteen menu :-))

Indeed we can ... however that's a risk & why it's tied to the requirement for an agreed bank settlement... unless alternatively they're status as creditors is legally changed by the courts of course ... either one of those should occur before we release the escrowed $2.5M & take our 20% in my opinion………… then we can fork out for the scoping study safe in the knowledge it'll be money well spent.... but then maybe that's just me ...

..... either way I'd rather have our 20% in the bank before we committed unrecoverable fundsc

Ha TC ... yes that'd be even better if the scoping study was paid for out of Ore sales or by the JV co at least but I don't think that'll happen ..........mainlt because the way I read it at the moment is that we (KDNC) were paying for it ourselves because we (KDNC) wanted it to support the greater percentage holding we're considering taking & it might help toward getting more favourable debt finance &/or greater shareholder support to achieve it.

I think INDO are already in it too deep where a scoping study would help them decide one way or the other which way Is best for them to jump....LoL

......personally I'd prefer our 20% holding is taken & announced before we start spending unrecoverable monies on scoping studies..... would be a huge lump to swallow if we spend huge amounts of money doing a scoping study on something we might never end up owning any of .......& no matter how remote it's considered that might be it's still a possibility until it's not any longer....

Don't know about that.... I posted it yesterday as well when the schedule was indicated as the 1st & 5th Aug .... so it's slipped 4 days since yesterday....

Whe're I'm looking a vessel notated for DEV is now showing ETA 05th Aug ETS 09th Aug .... so pushed back further again....

Indeed .... assuming all is well (current rise might infer it is) .... first we'll need to find $3.5M (less loan & interest) to go to 27% then probably another $24M in the 12 months to take us to 49%....... loans or dilution......take your pick

LoL Frankie .... it's awfully messy & sticky enough trying to wrestle it into my mouth without turning the immediate area & my chops into a sellotape surface ... the thought of moulding it into anything is truly appalling to me :-))

@cause ... I was just playing some ... we won't see much for some years as the income will ploughed back in to settle debts & fund rehabilitation etc... there's still going to be a lot of funding/debt/loans/dilution required over & above the revenues from stockpiles ... but it'll be moving in the right direction.

My Candyfloss comment was because it looks a lot & when you get it in your mouth it's incredibly sweet but the it disappears into nothing & the taste doesn't linger long either.....

Hopefully there'll be some real & proper good news soon .... VERY soon hopefully

.... as for opinion making a market ... yes I see that .... unfortunately most of the opinion that creates spikes here us flawed & based on candyfloss interpretations of news

....ah but the 'when' is the most important part .... we're not going to get bought out anytime soon unless it's for peanuts ..... given that Hastings can spend the next ten years accruing funds to do so should they choose ...

Although having said that I wouldn't necessarily put a fire sale for peanuts past us either!!
