If I recall correctly (from announcement years ago) the underground water reservoir sits partially under licence areas covered by our JV - don't know if that's of ant benefit to our position or not....

......... do you not it might just be Krupa & Ceska lit picking up as many as they can on market for less than they've offered under the VTO .. if they're serious surely with the way the markets are currently it'd just be too tempting surely...

....for what it's worth my view hasn't changed much except in regard to the addition of the scoping study:

If we consider & accept that forking out $6M in 2 stages based on progress for $27% is an absolute no brained in terms of risk/reward were absolutely in the right place doing the right thing & our interests are both protected & secured..... all good so far ....

..... now for the next part....

Forking out an additional $24M for 22% on a first right of refusal (& yes it is ours to take should we wish) however might be considered as having far more risk attached with less 'headroom' on the risk/reward curve.....

...enter the scoping study meaning concerns, uncertainties or risks about the value & viability of taking the additional 22% for $24M are negated - especially if it has to be done via a diluting raise or additional CLN negotiations.

....if the scoping study leaves the decision more in realms of 'so so &,indifference our $27% for $6M would still be seen as good value but then maybe we'd take the decision at that point to let someone in whose got a spare $24M lying around & they're OK to see a smaller return than we would suffer damage via dilution/debt.

So roll on the scoping study I say let the cat (TC?) see the cream.... or if it transpires the creams not as rich as we want / hope / believe & Obs magic calculator of many numbers says it is let's see if someone else wants to pay to get in & share what there is.

I would hope KDNC will hold out for a much stronger return than selling at 15.5p .... however we are in the hands of the minigases soooo.....

.... for a start we could recover our $2.5M ..... however I do think the scoping study is simply desired/designed to provide an up to date valuation, required actions & costs to reinstate & prove its ' hopefully fabulous' value to KDNC.

Obs regarding the 60 days for agreement with the bank creditors.... some thoughts:

a) we don't really know for certain the date the court originally ruled on this other than assuming/guessing it was no more than a day or two prior to our RNS but it could have been longer.

b) unless a future dare for hearing was set at the time of the ruling (which I doubt) if no agreement with the bank has already or will be reached imminently I suspect it would then require noting & formally alerting to the court under a further petition to the court after which they'll need to set some future date for a hearing and potential ruling.

c) if agreement isn't reached I don't think the banks will take a demotion of their status lying down so would expect a challengeof some description.

So personally I would only expect an RNS soon regarding the bank(s) agreement if an agreement has indeed been reached otherwise I suspect it may be some weeks yet.

Just my opinion.....

Yes....... you can buy, sell & hold cash in your shares ISA .... the only constraint is that if you take cash out of your shares ISA you don't create space to put it back in .....unless you still have unused space in your annual ISA allowance.

So you can buy share at 10p in your shares ISA then sell them for £1 hold it as cash or buy shares in another company..... it only loses it's ISA status ... if you take the cash out.

If you put in your full annual allowance into a shares ISA buy shares .... then sell them & take some / all of the cash out then you can't replace it until the next tax year.... so don't take it out unless you have to.

But don't take my word for it check with your broker

Eye Guy ... either way we don't & won't directly own the stockpile we will potentially, probably, hopefully own a % of the company that owns it with a couple of our BoD sitting on the board .... for better or worse depending on your opinion of our board !! .... I'll leave that there for now :-))

@Obs.... my workings on costs are based on a few readings I have so no I wouldn't know for definite whether the costs included or excluded fuel but possibly not .. I just suspect it may be nett of fuel because of the potential day(s) of 'non steaming' for want of a better phrase whilst it's 'in port for loading or unloading .... as I tried to indicate it's just my best guess so if anyone has knowledge or evidence to the contrary I'd very happily hear it.

Also re stockpile values - I wonder whether there's as much left now as there was recorded to be - who knows how much may have disappeared to the local artisans over the intervening years when it wasn't necessarily being watched 24/7....

EyeGuy....no KDNC don't 'own' anything of anything right now .... the operating company owns the stockpiles ....as & when we take our % holding of the operating company then you could argue we would own the corresponding percentage of the stockpiles... however don't forget that we will see no revenue from it as it is all earmarked for reinvestment into the rehabilitation plans for the mine & workings.

@Golfer61 ... apologies my answer was glib however I don't do predictions because I don't put anything by them there's been plenty enough ridiculous ones thrown around here over the years many of them by WHI & if they're uselessly off the mark what chance has anyone on here got ... there's been 3 placings & 2 loan conversions in the last 5 weeks increasing the SCAP with more to come that needs to be factored in ...any decent rise in the short term will likely result in more dilution & profit taking which is what killed the recent one.

Do I think it will rise - yes or I wouldn't still be here ... how high your guess is as good as mine ... I know at what point my out is & whilst it might be it's not necessarily a price point.

Take from that what you will & there are plenty here who will quote what they believe the SP will be ridiculous in both +/- extremes as far as I'm concerned but then that's me.
