Hi Tradecraft, I didn't have a case number I communicated it all via secured conversations with the corp actions team .... however as indicated the reason I was given was that it wasn't 'allowed' under the offer rules rather than it wasn't possible due to accounts operating on different platforms as you've been told..... I made a comment to the effect that it appeared I wouldn't be having this difficulty/disadvantage if my accounts were with any number of alternate brokers who seemed both willing & able to offer the ISA entitlement in a trading account held by that qualifying person & therefore it wasn't being 'transferred' to anyone else & that an inconsistent interpretation of the offer rules can't be correct in both instances ..... I note others also seem to be encountering 'other' difficulties depending on who they're with as well from as blunt responses such as 'we don't service' open offers to just inexplicable .... so for me I guess I've been fortunate to the extent my broker appears to have revisited their interpretation of the offer rules ..... assuming of course (SP action dependent)I decide to take up the offer before Tues SP action Monday could be key eh!!

RESULT!!!! My ISA entitlement will now be made available to me in my trading account before the closing of the offer . ... The badgering (& I suspect not just mine) seems to have worked

Hi @ Tradecraft.... Slightly different story to the one got whereas the response to me was that it was a difference in interpretation of the offer!!!! Which makes me think it's more likely a poor reflection on the ability of our broker(s) - shame on them is all I can say about that!!

For me I can buy plenty under the offer outside of the ISA as well but with the current SP I may well end up not being able to take up my ISA entitlement as well ... but then also whilst the SP is where it is I could almost pick up the slack on market without much penalty so maybe I'll do that tomorrow..... Ponder ponder ...

Maybe the bank of Ant&Dec that's advertised on TV :-))
