@Roger .... based on the current contribution of Sonora to our SP if it all goes completely s#!t shaped it should have very little impact on our SP ... Just means a 10 year expectant & hopeful wait has been completely fruitless & for nothing whilst throwing KM's $200M potential valuation (per 2018 unpublished webinar) wholly & firmly in the toilet bowl......

BUT there's at least another couple of weeks of hoping otherwise of course LoL .... by which time (year end!) we should have the Amapa PFS & A$9M HAS shares .... oh hang on who was it put those expectations on the table? ... maybe a little longer then ..... if ever ;-() LoL

Ha ...who could ever accuse you of hype & over enthusiasm of value OBS ... I can think of at least 2 posters who'd jump to your side in defence of any deemed assault on your credibility LoL ....

Ivy ... yes if I was our BoD & was asked the question I'd probably say something similar to allay concern .... however in my working career I've learnt nothing & no-one is indispensable..... I've also mentioned previously how a previous CEO I worked for managed to talk our American parent into subbing us for 10years+ to the tune of between $2 & $5M per annum based on what they wanted to hear at annual presentations ..they eventually dumped & sold us for £1 to a Swiss co lasted for another 2 years LoL.

Heidi ... I think the fact that we're an investment co & in it purely for the returns to UK shareholders would have some bearing in considerations .... exactly what AMLO is against in fact by trying to protect the asset for internal benefit .... we're not a miner & are simply sitting on the sidelines with a 30% holding in 2 JV's waiting for progression with relatively little invested to date, I'm not sure we'd be awarded 100's of millions in compensation based on that ... but let's hope it doesn't come to that.... as I said I'm very much hoping for a very different (& much more rewarding) outcome & hopefully we're a matter of weeks away from discovering what that is in terms of Sonora ..... also on the plus side with so little of our SP reflecting any value in Sonora currently anything other than a total Sonoran calamity should have some benefit even if we just recover our expenses there.... Crikey a total write off shouldn't be too detrimental to our current SP looking at how we must currently be valued...

as I said conjecture only at the moment which I don't have issue with but that's what it is ... hopefully though not for much longer until we have something more concrete to work with.

It's all just a big question mark at the moment but I still hold onto certain prior experiences & knowns.....

@ Heidi when it comes to arbitration I recall being in Rurelec when Bolivia nationalised their energy .... Immediately tanked their SP having invested tens of millions there... went to intl arbitration after several years they were awarded $52M in a Dutch court & eventually settled on $32M on a take it or leave it ultimatum from Bolivia ...the latter just about settled their debts at the time (numbers might not be exact but they're in the ballpark) so I don't for one minute expect that to end well if it goes that way in Mexico - so let's hope not...

Both the JV areas are held by Mexican holding co's (Mexilit & Megalit) split 70/30 between Bacanora (a Canadian co) wholly owned by Ganfeng & KDNC.... how might, could or may that impact any discussions/outcomes .... again who knows a lot, a little or nothing ...

Hopefully we'll know in a few weeks/month or so. .... Fingers crossed we've sold our 30% of the JV's in a competitive bidding process between US/MX/CA mining/battery/car co's .... but I'm not holding my breath on that either...... until something's announced its all pie in the sky guessing, conjecture, doom & gloom or hope.

...you can't really believe that any buy out/take out or even rescinding of the licences on the concessions by the MX govt is going to be based on the prevailing price of lithium at the point/time it happens surely...... that's if that is what even happens rather than a satisfactory negotiated agreement isn't reached meaning all parties are still involved in some form or fashion .... fact is nobody knows how it's going to pan out & be resolved .... or not .... at the moment.

..... Yep .... We've yet to discover how all the delays & heel dragging over the years might now play out in the light of recent changes

I was in a similar position on another share I hold a while back so I battered my broker with arguments that the entitlement accrued in my ISA in an open offer/rights issue was entirely & rightfully mine to take at my election - after a fair bit of back & forward they made the entitlement accrued in my ISA available to me in my standard trading account ..... key here is don't accept any denial of entitlement or the possibility of doing it because they can ....
