Hi I have been trying to find the patents held by valirx but I can't reconcile the search results on the gov UK with valirx products 201, 401, etc.
I used the Espacenet search for worldwide patent searches via the gov UK website and I got the following results.

Can anyone reconcile this information with valirx products

Good post scooby. I recommend that people think about their position on this issue of consolidation. Certainly watch the video, but also look at the share charts and the share price performance. Don't get too distracted by the occasional spikes. There certainly have been occasions where some lucky people would have made money on Val, but real value and real gains are only going to happen when an increase in sp can be maintained.

I am not against anyone who in favor of consolidation I am sure there are multiple points of view on the future of the company and how the proposed consolidation fits in with that future. However I don't think that discribing those like me who are against the proposed consolidation as loons or mongs is helpful or respectful to other points of view. I do not think that anyone wants to see Val fail, rather I think the sentiment is that if you are in the 99%down club threats from the BOD to call in the administrators is a pretty weak threat. All we want is for the BOD to put their money where there mouth is, take the risk like anyone else and by doing so show that they have confidence in the future of the company. I do not think that preventing this consolidation will be the end of the world or of val.
Everyone has their view on this, please respect this and the people who post on this board.

Hi sl to be fair I have used the gambling analogy a lot.. The ponit I was makining is that without any indication that a sp increase can be sustained and the ongoing strong downwards trend in sp the decision to put money in looks more like a punt than an investment based on evidence. I could expand on this further, but just want to nip any abuse directed at Freddie in the bud.

Looks like things are getting a bit polarised here again.
Sl100 is quite right if the company closes we lose all the money we have put in.
It is clearly in all our interests that it continues.
That said, it cannot continue as it has done.
If you are 99% down the threat of administration is a pretty weak threat.
I have advised Halifax to vote against the consolidation, but that is because I want the way the company operates to change.
I do not want begrudge anyone who wants to support the action, we have diffent amounts of losses and different percentages of losses.
My concern is give fair warning to new investors as I don't want others to lose money.

Just been chatting with Halifax and have requested that the voting team register my vote against consolidation and have my reference number for that instruction. On Halifax there is no button to register your vote on the notification screen in case others use Halifax and want to vote.

Sure wasn't. I wanted to buy last Friday at the 1740 ponit, but it still looked a bit high. Watched Mon and Tues and it looked like I missed my chance. Brought at 1844 yesterday morning thinking I don't want to miss the boat and 1hr later...... Rats lol.

Pxsmad, I am now 99.91% down. The reason for so much negative feeling on here is that I am not the only person in this situation. From a practical point of view I don't want the company to go into administration, but if the BOD are not willing to put their money where their mouth is then going into administration will not make the current situation much worse.

This is definitely the time for being level headed and professional. It's easy to get emotional if you think you have been conned, but we have to contrain ourselves to the facts and express our concerns professionally I.e. The reason why we are concerned and the issues and circumstances that inform those concerns.

As for the FCA and sfo I think it is far too early to be thinking about approaching either. There has to be a genuine reason for making such a complaint to either the FCA or sfo and this is far from established. Its better now to relax and wait a few days and see what the BOD responce is and take things from there. Fingers crossed they can give a credible account of themselves.

One minor ponit regarding funding from the BOD is the minimum amount of time they have to be invested. If they put in money to get our consent on further fund raising (with or without a consolidation) they could pull their money back out straight after getting our consent. I don't think this is something to worry about at this stage, the first step is to resolve the consolidation. Its just a issue of not taking your eye off the ball.

I have to agree with ValJu. My day job involves dealing with people's excuses. It can be very difficult to get beyond a smokescreen, but I the interim responce received does not impress me and focuses on emotional content rather (to elicit an emotional responce in the reader) rather than addressing any issues raised. That said it is clearly an interim responce whilst they prepare a full responce. We have been discussing this on here for days and we can't expect a full and adequate response straight away. They need time to respond fully and given our concerns it is good that they sent an acknowledgement as soon as they did.

I agrre sl, ending the company is like throwing the baby out with the bathwater. I would very much like to see a return to confidence, but if ultimately we have been fleeced (and that we have established that is the case) there wouldn't be any reason not to end the company as we would have nothing to lose. I think the ball is going back in the BOD's court and it's for them to address the issues and concerns raised if the company is to be saved.

As they have to advise of all shareholders with 3% or more we can assume that valirx shares are distributed widely and that the company is not controlled by a majority shareholding.

To put things in perspective :
Directors 7,152,239 0.47%

Based on this I am sure you can calculate if we have x number of shares between us what % our protest group controls

There is also bvd products. I know that FAME (the name of specific product I have used in the past) will show you the corporate structure and that its is possible to identify the main shareholders. Bvd products are difficult to work with. They don't let you copy and paste information easily, but do allow export to excel. It looks like a trial version can be down loaded though

Hi Fred, I wouldn't worry too much, I think you are doing a great job. To be Frank I don't think whether the shares are offshore or not makes much difference. At the end of day there are, persons or companies that own shares in valirx and they have all lost money too. If the BOD own shares in a company that owns valirx shares then they are feeling the pain too. Unless there is a way of make money on losses I don't think there is too much to worry about. The only thing that worries me at the moment is flogging off IP to associated companies and at that point it might be a sfo issue as Val would have defrauded the shareholders of the gains from the IP that the shareholders /investors would expect in return for their investment

Bp82, I can totally understand wanting to consult a corporate lawyer, but I think we might be at too early a stage for that. I think we need to hear from valirx their responce. It's unclear if they can give a credible account of themselves for us to determine that they have done something wrong. I have given thought to the sfo myself but we don't have much to go on than a collective loss of confidence. I think wait till Fred gets a responce from satu or anyone else from Val.
