It (whatever "it" is) will take as long as it takes so the BOD can't even tell us the timeline if they wanted to. It's a unique situation in my experience and although Matt may have overstepped his comfort zone, nobody would have expected their money to be completely unavailable for this period of time regardless of the performance of the share. When we invest again, perhaps we should write off those funds for a year or so - just in case.

I am with HL who used to offer a “Bed and ISA” service. You could transfer a share from a Fund and Share account to a Stocks and Shares ISA by authorising HL to sell from one account and immediately buy into your ISA. Normally you would lose a few shares in the process but overall it was worth it. Especially if you made a large profit within the ISA.
HL now do not offer this service so you have to sell, wait 5 days for the trade to clear and then buy within the ISA using the funds from your sale 5 days ago. I only did it once recently and it cost me £800 in lost funds because the share price increased after I sold. I complained to HL but nothing was done.
Please bring back your Bed and ISA service HL!,

If you convert to certificates for £25 and subsequently make a large capital gain on a share not in an ISA, I'm pretty sure you can use your certificates to offset profits with your loss on CTAG. Depends how much you lost I suppose.

I personally think we'll be OK. Maybe not the bonanza we all dream about but the thought of someone quietly disappearing with my money keeps me awake sometimes.

Perhaps there is a downside to the BOD having so much "skin in the game". Voting all together is a powerful force to do what they want. Let's hope what they want is what we want.
