AFC are gonna be massive. No competition for EQT. Very different market. But having been invested 11 years in AFC I get what they are about and believe that their fuelcell technology and route to market will be the product that fills the gap which other fuelcells have failed to do. PEMs are too expensive to manufacture increasing Capex and too expensive to run (cannot utilise ammonia) thus increasing Opex. AFC have considered cost and efficiency developing a considerate low cost solution for diesel power generation, EV charging (grid power competitive) and soon to be available, a system for locomotive and shipping power.

EQT are the leaders in gasification. Could easily partner AFC if turned to H2 production. Fuelcell power is more efficient than combustion.

Exciting sector. Gone of the boil but soon to come back with a vengeance.

I also hope there will be an announcement Monday but it may have to wait for the court to close the case. However, if there is nothing then it may present a great opportunity.

Price action this week has been strong considering a decline in sector peers such as AFC, ITM, SAE etc. EQT has remained strong. Financial closure on Deeside or Billingham and a Wood partnership for Asia and Middle East should propel this to new highs.

Aries clearly shat themselves and decided best to pull out and agreed to the dismissal. That has started thr ball rolling but I don't think it will be as simple as the court awarding costs to respective parties when North Fork and EQT have actually done nothing wrong.

Sounds like that is what Aries want but perhaps not what is agreed by EQT and North Fork. I bet they would love to take EQT down the garden path a cost the defendents millions and then drop the case and suggest we all pay our own costs. Somehow I don't think North Fork and EQT would agree.

They deserve to be ruined. Not keen personally on EQT having to pay their own legal costs but then the case was not against EQT, it was against North Fork including Phoenix and EQT so possibly not huge

They must be able to reclaim the costs or people would just go round making claims without justification and the defendents would not see any justice.

Aries are chancers and for that they must pay up. I believe I read somewhere that the claimant can be penalised for wasting court time also. That is exactly what they have done.

Mucksy, Those plastic pipes don't belong to NG they will be Cadent. They are designed to operate at 2 barg or less. They're part of ongoing improvements sanctioned by OfGem in order to replace existing cast mains.

There is a drive towards transportation of H2 at higher pressure at longer distances. That is when the existing netwrok infrastructure may start to become more of a concern.

At the types of pressures that H2 would be transported at it H2 embrittlement is most likely not an issue. As for joints in a pipeline...…..There are none outside of compressor stations and AGI's and these are above ground and can be monitored. The biggest concern would be the welded joint and heat affected zone which would be most probe to embrittlement but H2 is transported as molecular H2 not Atomic reducing the issue.

There has been much work in this area. Within reason existing parts of the network could cope with H2 transportation. Hynet however, not a NG project will be constructed using materials specifically designed to transport H2. most likely high grade steel and large diameter better suited for the process.

HyDeploy has already started to utilise an H2 blend on a private infrastructure at Keele University with great success.

Oh yes, AFC are just getting started. Market really needs to wake up and start applying some value to these partnerships. Nothing attributed to Ricardo and Mace, very little attributed value to ABB. Madness really but I guess thr market is chasing rainbows elsewhere to see it.

Playing devil's advocate here, if CWR can generate revenues of £33m but still have a loss of £18m should they not be looking to reduce costs somewhere and start generating profit ? Then they would not need £180m and reinvest in their development ? Just a question. Heavily into this sector

Giving back the gains I see. So that's Ricardo and now Mace which has seen zero recognition for the collaboration. 11 years of rinse repeat and just when things start to get a little interesting the market responds like a wet firework.

I don't think Ricardo has been priced in yet either. However Mace will lead to revenues from early 2022 through leasing. This in turn is expected to lead to equipment sales to hire companies. Its a great partnership and doesn't appear to be exclusive therefore opening the move to many others.

Financial closure of Deeside or Billingham will be the biggest catalyst. Once finance is in place and EPC can commence it will be a massive tick in the box for DP and his ability to get a big project over the line so to speak

Yes, if the projects identified for financial closure this year unfold as DP predicts 4p is not a particularly strong EoY target. I would still favour the 10p.

Come on oz_investor. 4p this week is a little long. I wouldn't turn it down but don't hold much hope for 4p this week.

Its not so much the demand for energy but the demand for waste. We can only assume that as Rouley suggests, there is plenty of waste to go round. We may have to stop paying to have landfill taken overseas and start dealing with it ourselves. It will become a valuable commodity.

Today, Yesterday and Wednesday buys have outweighed sells by a significant margin yet the SP has barely moved. Today this is around 8 to 1. Why no movement ?

The current SP is presenting an opportunity.

Why all this talk of dilution ? surely capital raised is only dilutive if it adds no value. Argo have a plan for that capital and although there are less than 3% more shares to be issued the capital will be used to add value through the Argo growth and diversity strategy. You can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs. These eggs are better broken than eating the hen (selling down the HODL) which is the appreciating asset. Lets get back to supporting Argo and there forward looking strategy and we will all be rewarded.
