At least AFC have demonstrated the capability. Perhaps it will be the plan to add another system to run on ammonia. If they're not using fuelcells for the paddocks what are they using? Use additional fuelcells and really push the green credentials

It was entertaining. Not the sound of a V8 petrol engine but I'm growing to like the whine of the electric motor as it winds up.

Most important thing is the demonstration of AFC tech in the middle of a desert. Do we really need to test these things or is this not evidence enough. As someone said, it may trigger some orders for first mover advantage. Maybe Acciona have been paying attention.

From BK Gulf the number of units per annum is several hundred.

Altaaqa have 2GW of mobile power in the fleet. The drive for clean tech, initially in hybrid with diesel power is not going to be just 1 or 2 units. When orders come from KSA I expect it to be in the MWs. Hence the reason AFC have a base for B.o.P in that very area.
