I can sense you don’t like me and I definitely don’t care about any rubbish you post, most of it is complete nonsense.

Those remarks I made about Telfer came From researching Newcrests RNSs and they certainly gave the impression there was nothing left. Why did they cover up the results of the West Dome only for Newmont come in and straight away excavated a decline towards it.

I’ve never been involved with or heard of a company in the situation that Ggp now finds itself in. This story is still evolving I don’t believe any of the fund managers know what to make of it or how to play it.

There’s only growth news coming and lots of it.

How the sp will react I doubt anyone knows at the moment. The shorters now still see openings and I believe it’s the mine plan short term is the risk they’re looking at. This will soon close as Ore is brought in to it from different zones around the mine .

There’s more water in the West Dome than at Havieron lower aquifer but is being controlled and is now mainly dry.

I don’t foresee any quiet periods, I’m expecting news to come thick and fast.

Stage 2 of the pit was described as "currently flooded" in September by SRK. That would be a good result if now dry.

Telfer is a mature operation and for the West Dome operating open pit, groundwater is located in a

fracture zone running along the length of the anticline and requires active dewatering. Seven

dewatering bores are in place, pumping between 50 L/s and 90 L/s. Existing installed pumping is

300 L/s and an additional 220 L/s of capacity is being installed. Stage 5 and Stage 8 are in

production, however Stage 2 of the pit (pit maximum depth of 350 m) is currently flooded and

needs to be dewatered before mining can recommence.

No water accumulations were observed in the Main Dome open pit and any water was stated to

migrate underground through former workings, while incident rainfall higher up in the pit likely

migrates underground via fractures associated with the subsidence zone.

We don’t necessarily need another Havieron, when we’re on the cusp of finding a smaller Telfer.

The people that came to my presentation at Stroud all went away with a smile on their faces when they realised what lies ahead.

I hope for the people coming to the Derby meeting it has the same effect.

To me it seems things are going to move faster than we all hoped for.

I’m referring solely to the West Dome pit, this hasn’t been pumped out for ages, over the last 2 weeks it’s now virtually dry.

Works to remove ore on the north side of this pit are still progressing and is the main source of the 20m stockpile.

Why do I think it’s progressing faster? Well in London Shaun was quite emphatic about this base level being high grade and now it’s drying out there will be no reason for works in the pit not to continue downwards. This is not in the mine plan but is part of the exploration targets being modelled , looks as if this may have already been modelled.

I would suspect some strip back to the sides of the pit will happen at some point but no additional costs involved at the moment.

The low grade stockpiles I believe are what SRK described as being on the ROM pad but mismanaged by Newcrest and could contain all sorts of grades. The pad needs clearing according to SRK. Ggp need to test these to bring it into the Mine Plan.

It won’t fill the gap between the current mine plan and Havieron ore but extend the 15 month to around 18 month.

Havieron ore will take some time to build up at the primary crusher pad at Havieron before transported to the Telfer ROM pad, they won’t start processing Havieron ore until there’s enough on the ROM pad for continuous production. The first year production is only planned for 1m ton so full production is highly unlikely.

Havieron ore being very high grade needs grinding to a finer micron than Telfers so it won’t be mixed.

The exploration targets in the acquisition documents have been drilled tested but need modelling to see if they’re viable and a mine plan formed. They are suggesting a low estimate of 1.3moz to 2.6moz high estimate so processing wise that’s 1.5 years to 3 years. This ore should supplement the Havieron ore to keep the plant operating before the West Dome Deeps comes online in 2-3 years time.

The stockpiles are needed to supplement the gap in production from the end of the 15 month plan to around 18 months, Havieron ore may or may not have started by then.

It gives a chance of a new mine plan to come into a fruition from the exploration targets, to take the pressure off of the Havieron ore.

The West Dome Deeps I would have thought is 2-3 years away.

Being such high grade ore from Havieron it’s best to keep them separate in my opinion and I’m presuming that’s why Shaun was talking about a 2 week on and 2 week off processing plan.

Anything close to Telfer and Havieron excites me but especially the West Dome Deeps and what’s above it 🙂

Anyone else noticed that the 1.3moz to 2.6moz estimates for the exploration targets have risen since the acquisition documents were released quoting 1.1moz to 2.4moz.

The first target must be the confirmation of viable ores to add to the mine plan in the first quarter of 2025.

If you listened to Stuart last night with Liam he was concerned what happens after the 15 months are up.

These ores are priority to be confirmed, the good news is they’ve announced additional ores in the stockpiles so these can be added straight away.

11.5m ton as at acquisition in the ROM stockpile plus today they say a further 20moz

that’s 31.5m , so 2 trains flat out processing for 18 months, a 3 month extension on the Mine Plan.

Then there’s the exploration target viability, today the broker gave a low 1.3moz to a high 2.6moz in those 6 targets, each one has to be viable. SRK suggested on their own they wouldn’t keep the plant going but good grades and altogether they will. There’s 30-60m tons in these targets, so 2 trains full processing for 1.5 years to 3 years.

Could be processing these well into Havieron starting and possibly the West Dome Deeps starting.

So roll on March and that resource estimate.

Regis have just issued a new presentation with new potential targets near Ernest Giles.

They’ve announced 7moz of resources including 2.7moz in McPhilameys which is not viable, so that makes 4.3moz resources.

Tropicana and Duketon projects are producing 418koz per annum.

Market cap A$1.9bn or £972m

They have 50% of Havieron resources without Telfer.

Telfer to start producing around 400koz.

Can you see where Ggp are heading 👏👏👏

Still waiting for approval for the evaporation ponds at Havieron, Ggp are not concerned about the overtopping as the extraction rates will be low.

That should shut some people up about the aquifer.

The 2 deep vent shafts are priority I hope to see some movement on those before too long ie the appointment of specialist contractors.
