Timeline for completion they’ve stated as being the December quarter. I’m just patiently waiting for this humongous deal to close.

I’ve been trying to find out everything I can about the Telfer licences for my talk on Tuesday night at Stroud. I am keen to reveal my research to the people that put themselves out to come, really looking forward to it.

As I said it won’t be long now it’s just getting the formalities over with.

There are 7 licences covering the Main Dome, airport, West Dome , plant area plus another one where the explosive store is located all due for renewal on 17th December.

These are what’s holding up the sale process together with the EPA submission.

I was looking forward to meeting you again, that was a good post earlier.

I will have to phone the venue today to double the numbers I originally told them, it’s still at maximum numbers to fit in the meeting room so the evening is still full.

I’ve met most people before that are coming, many are from here.

Newmonts latest presentation only remarks about Telfer in the figures as producing 64,000 oz at an AISC$3,823

That’s because they were not producing while mending the dams and plant.

It’s indicating they’ve spent around $100m over their sales revenues.

I doubt that will happen, but I will post my thoughts afterwards.

I did do one up in Stirling a couple of years ago when Strudel organised one.

I don’t want to give too much away from my little presentation on the 19th at Stroud but I’m super excited by the West Dome Deeps 🙂

I expect we will find out in the March resource estimate.

They’ve been drilling since April.

He said there were 2 rigs , we know they were targeting high grade ore but there’s breccia surrounding it.

This ore body seems bigger than envisaged, but only the drill results will reveal all.

Tim’s Dome is on the Wilki licence this licence is up for renewal March/April next year.

It’s coming up after 10 years this means the costs are rising.

8-10 years

$70k minimum spend for 8-23 blocks

Rent $748 per block

Starting to look costly.

Prospects for it though look good geology wise, the Middle Vale reef goes right through on a trend that goes through the West Dome at Telfer where it’s mineralised.

I’m very wary of too high a gold price it means the world is approaching -•-• order, copper on the other hand would be indicating industrial growth with high prices.

Unfortunately copper has not hit the heights of earlier projections indicating worsening trading conditions.

The supply of copper is limited and not much to replace it, so is not likely to fall too much.

I would prefer to see a stable gold price around current levels and a steady growing copper price.

Wishing for high levels of gold could be disastrous for the global economy, check out what happened to Venezuela when they ditched global currency, they still haven’t recovered.

I hope Ggp do not make an offer for Antipa.

The West Dome deep is a far better option than Minyari, not a lot of capex to find , close to the hoist and no plant to build or long haulage problems.

Let Antipa spend their own money on Minyari.

Ggp only need to fund A$5 or so to gain 51% of the Wilki jv, so going forward only need to find 51% of the costs on any targets if they don’t proceed to the remainder of the jv.

To the south of Telfer is Grace looks a very good prospect, Paterson Resources are struggling a bit reducing their licences considerably.

Ggp are so close now to gaining 51% of the Rio jv. Priority has to be given to that area instead of Ernest Giles no matter how good it is, the Rio jv surrounds Telfer EG doesn’t.

Get your priorities in the right order, a find around Telfer is top priority. Chilly is close to the track from Telfer to Minyari and they’ve hit mineralisation and it’s pathfinder is towards the SE end and further away from the other drills.

We have 0% of the Rio jv so far, 7,500m of drilling to gain + A$7.1m.

1,000m on Chilly

1,200m on Teague and Bootstrap

+ 2 further drills on Bootstrap 3-400m?

+ drilling at Atlantis in New Year

Should get to the 51% target

Lots of ground surveys so the cost target should have been reached .

Ggp were hardly likely to spend cash on any drilling with the fund raise going on.

There’s 7 licences due to expire in December that need extending which could be holding up the sale process.

Why? Because they are right in the middle of Telfer where the main pit is and the plant and the airport.
