The satellite image of the pit on the 20th Dec is showing a big change from the last clear image on the 30th Nov.

Indicating large amounts of ore has been removed.

The stockpile shapes on the ROM pads are showing big movements of refilling

The Resource update is likely to come at the end of the quarter, this should include the modelling of various orebodies.

Drilling news though could drop anytime between now and then, Shaun though likes to give a full picture of what’s happening.

Fan drilling gives a full set of information in able to form a model but core information will be coming back from the lab not all at once at the end.

The open pit drilling completed by Newmont is being assessed by Greatland, Shaun could start to feeding this through to the market.

Other underground ore bodies have also been drilled out.

Plus he has Bootstrap and London deep drills to come.

A huge amount of information to come, a lot of work for the team.

People have talking about takeovers ever since Had005.

The takeover of Greatland hasn’t happened so far.

Newcrest didn’t want to or couldn’t and neither did Newmont.

It’s all to do with risks and margins.

Wyloo are an investment firm they are assisting Shaun to build a company where the risks are lower and the margins are higher. We’re still in the beginning of that journey who knows what will happen at the end of it.

Greatland have built an impressive team able to cope with the risks, Wyloo should be very content with their investment.

That 15% is what Sprott suggests

Gold Dore’ bar is 25000 grams

31.1 gram to oz is 803oz

Gold content could range 65-90% in a bar so 75% is 600oz

I think the 15% is low, I would have thought it was greater than 50% but I can’t find any other figures to base it on

Shaun mentions the copper concentrate going off to Port Hedland one Newmont have cleared the current stock there at the port.

85% of the gold production is in it.

The gold from Dore’ bars is 15% of the total gold produced.

That’s 85% revenue less costs to come back from the concentrate processors .

That means for each bar produced is equal to 4000oz. Approximately 600oz in the bar, 3400oz in the concentrate.

At $2600 is over $10m less costs

There could be at least 26 bars produced from the 4th till today, if both trains working.

I didn’t include any revenues from the copper concentrate.

Remember if the gold grades in the copper concentrate drop below 10g/t then the processors keep the revenues but Newcrest were achieving 50g/t so the revenues are scaled up. If they achieve 90g/t Ggp will get back nearly the full revenues for gold.

If they are running both trains at a rate of 10mt per annum that’s 27,400 ton per day each.

That works out around 600oz each per day.

600oz is roughly what’s in a gold Dore’ bar.

That’s 13 bars each since the 4th

About $15.6m profit or A$24.6m

About another 50% from now to Xmas

I’m presuming that’s with no debt.

There are 3 areas that Ggp are investigating for inclusion in the mine plan which they’ve named the “Exploration licences”.

Underground

Open pit

Stockpiles.

The Open pit includes :-

Stage 7 West Dome pit north , this cut back has now been issued for Government approval.

Stage 8 extension base, this area has now been drained and can be progressed downward once approved.

Main Dome cutback.

These 3 zones have a total estimated tonnage:-

Low case = 13mt for 300koz

High case = 19mt for 600koz

Therefore 2 trains working for minimum 8 months to nearly 12 months in addition to the 15 month mine plan. That’s just from the open pit.

Newcrest put in for approval of the West Dome cutback stage 7 on 22nd October.

This ore is outside of the current mine plan, when issued will form an additional extension to the 15 month mine plan.

You are very naive!

If you can make a profit there then great, the same as if you are in Antipa but so long as you understand the risks.

Exploration drilling up a mountain is not the same as drilling on a flat desert with a few big bumps in the way. The sizes of the drill rigs for one, I remember Solgold using a one man operating drill. Positioning of the rigs will be limited to where they can get to, when the infill drilling starts to firm up reserves this could be very restrictive and limiting results.

Antipa’s main issue is funding, they have some in the bank at the moment but take the Wilki jv for instance next Spring they have around 1,100 square kilometres coming up for renewal out of I think 1,800. A lot of these are at the end of a 10 year period, the costs are starting to rise the longer they hold on to them. It’s the same situation on the IGO jv.

Then there is the same issue as Havieron trucking 3mt to Telfer. It’s taken nearly 4 years since the initial environmental assessment were sent for referral to get the road to Havieron. I’ve not seen anything yet for the Minyari road but I haven’t been looking.

The track at present to Minyari is circuitous and the new road has to cut across numerous sand dunes, that will be onerous to get approval.

The start date for Minyari is a long way off as is OMI
