Havieron was drilled by Newcrest prior to Sam Garrets company having the licence.

The drilling technology of the time found it very difficult to get through the cover sequence.

A report came out not long after the last drill was completed suggesting that Newcrest look for shallower targets as the cover depth was too great.

This is why Shaun always says “ cover is your friend.”

The depth was too great for Newcrest at that time, it was also the undoing of Artemis at Nimitz and could be the undoing of WSBN at Redsetter.

Sam Garrett didn’t find Havieron, he was part of its evolution.

“ The Havieron target was first recognised and drilled by Newcrest Exploration between 1991 and 2003 with most holes displaying alteration and low grade anomalous gold and copper mineralisation.”

We need to lengthen the Mine Plan at Telfer and complete the infrastructure at Havieron before we will be looked at.

The WDD will be a draw for big companies but the Mine Plan will have to be substantial.

I’m certainly not interested in investing in something that’s not certain to be developed.

Titanium dioxide is certainly not going to be a patch on gold and copper revenues, Ggp are producing revenues now , large ones at that. How many years are you going to have to wait. We’ve gone through our dilution phase you haven’t started yet.

There’s only one elephant country in Western Australia and that’s Havieron.

I have to say I’m in agreement with what E1 said. I was sceptical about its success several years ago when asked to have a look at that anomaly.

I haven’t really followed its progress fully, it appears the lab tests were a success on a cheaper method for its processing.

I would rather wait to see if they can do a full scale test before I change my original thoughts.

Gold and copper have more easily understood path to market, which Ggp already have an established path. Titanium is a different market. If you look at toothpaste you will see it in the list of contents, it’s the whitener. Ti02 has been banned by the EU for use in food additives .

That’s a huge market but looks to have a sketchy future.

I could have put more in that post but they are my expectations rather than what’s happened or going to happen.

100koz 3.5kt of copper high side

90koz + 3mt mid side

85koz + 2.5kt low side

Average price $3225/oz and $10k copper

More higher grades in stage 2 and some sort of information on being in the MVR reef to confirm my thoughts.

Announcement of a resource at the ESC and mine plan.

Decline to the WDD 50-75% complete.

A hit next to Parklands maybe a forlorn hope.

You know my expectations are high so don’t take them for granted 🙂

Someone has received an email reply saying the last week in July.

Must be a lot in it if it is to be believed.

I’m expecting good drilling results from the base of the pit in Stage 2 and also the ESC again.

Plus more information on the 2 other lookalike ore bodies to the ESC. Maybe some information on what’s left in the SLC, not touched for 7 years Shaun said.

I hope so but either the following week or the one after w/c 21st or 28th. I hope it’s not the 28th as I will have no time to prepare for our small Theale meeting on the 30th.

Kaliranu 40% was surrendered and Antipa applied for that zone

Wilki lake was surrendered after the ground surveys showed no mineralisation. Antipa has applied for it.

Skylar:-

I thought after the disappointing results from Bootstrap that the Skylar licence may have been surrendered . Only the Eastern half has been surrendered leaving Bootstrap for a later date. The Eastern end would be too deep to the basement.

Ggp 100% land

Pascalle 40% of the eastern end was surrendered and Antipa have applied for it.

No news on Rudall or the Scallywag licence.

The 2 Canning licences were surrendered .

Woodlands has now 6 licences with all applications approved including the new one south of the Hibernian mine.

Yannarie 5 licences are still in application.

Bromus has been sold

Panorama, Paterson range east, Blackhills north and Blackhills have been sold on certain conditions scheduled for next October.

High gold and copper prices should counter any shortfall in the expected recovery rate drop that Shaun outlined after moving to the copper oxides on Stage 7. The photo one of the analysts took of the blasting was at the top of Stage 7.

Thought I would post this again as a reminder:-

West Dome Pit:-

Well we know there are 4 drills on this pit area, one of these drills though is a big one for hydrological drilling ie bore holes. One photo we have shows that rig halfway up stage 7 above the West Dome Deeps and can also be seen on another photo in the base of the pit. Other photos shows the other rigs drilling the central potential zone and Stage 7 extension area, this is to close the spacings from past drill holes to convert inferred resources into indicated. They have also been in the base of the pit extending the potential under the current resource.

There’s no other evidence that I’ve seen of those rigs drilling elsewhere but they could have been especially over the extension zones.

Main Dome underground:-

2 underground rigs have been drilling on the ESC , M reefs and A reefs. These have again been infill drilling to convert the inferred resources to indicated and also extend information on the ore body.

These rigs moved during the quarter back to the West Dome Deeps drilling platform.

West Dome Deeps:-

We were informed in an RNS that they would be infill drilling the high grade zone to firm up a resource ( remember they can’t reach a lot of it from there). We were also informed in the February RNS they wanted to test the stockwork underneath the high grade. That for me is very intriguing as that could be a big zone.

Other areas:-

Either ends of Parkland around a dozen pads were drilled there although Antipa have announced only anomalous results. There could be some hope still for us as Goldworm describes the Ggp area as having the “hinge “ of 2 anticlines on that licence and that could act as a conduit for a molten fluid event 🤞

Trotmans (central?) had 6 pads earlier on in the quarter.

Big Tree around 34 pads have been constructed waiting for the drill rig, this is an extension to the existing drilling which has a strike length of over 1km, the new area is also over 1km strike length.

Backdoor/ ironclad recently has added around 8 pads to the north of historical drilling.

Ernest Giles:-

Around 30 pads have been constructed recently and an RC rig has drilled some of these as at the last satellite image, maybe this will come in the next quarters update.

Rio jv :-

Chilly on Strickland is suppose to be in this quarters drill programme not seen anything yet.

Further survey work was suppose to happen at Atlantis to firm up a drill programme for this half year.

Calypso survey work was also suppose to be in this half year with drill planning.

Teague has 2 new pads recently.

Strickland had a 40% surrender this last half year from the jv .

Telfer Domain was surrendered. Antipa applied for the eastern end of this and Greatland applied for the western end together with the Strickland portion and further area to the west.

Where have you found that info.

Meadows has always been RC drilled the cover is too deep for air core.

When you say friable that has to be the deep shakes in the cover.

The banded iron deposits would not suit RC drilling it’s too hard, it specific gravity is between 5 and 5.5, the drill would just bounce off. What they are looking for are fluid pathways coming up through the fractures in the banded iron deposits. These sulphides will be softer than the BIF with a specific gravity of 2.7 to 3 that’s still hard.

I have strong reservations about how this Board is regulated with the current legal rules on online trolls. I personally seem to be the target from a few obnoxious characters who have been continually posted vile remarks about me.

It just washes over me personally but I can’t understand why people don’t keep reporting abusive characters no matter where the abuse is aimed at.

These characters are treading a fine line to having a knock on the door one morning.

I was expecting Skylar to be completely surrendered after those anomalous results from Bootstrap. Well they’ve only surrendered the SE half of the licence. I’m expecting wishbone or Antipa to jump on it. Antipa especially are picking up allsorts of cast off licences.

Then today a Wishbone RNS picking up a load of Antipa’s cast offs.

The best example of Antipa picking up cast offs has to be Wilki Lake disposed of as part of the Rio jv recently smothered with ground surveys only to find nothing there. Why have Antipa jumped in 🤷‍♂️no wonder they needed another raise.

This is an interesting paper on how the dominant factor at Telfer is whether the copper ores are soluble in cyanide.

Weak ores such as copper oxides are soluble, higher grade copper sulphate ores are a lot less soluble.

This is the reason they changed the plant which I believe opened in 2006 after modifications.

Train 1 was reorganised to suit copper sulphate ores and train 2 lower grade pit ores.
