Of course I've seen the drilling results but I don't believe you understood them and the context when they were issued.
The 2016 drilling were mainly wildcat exploratory holes.
The 2018 drilling focused on finding the anomalies Newmonts Deep Sensing Geochemical surveys had found and 13 out of 23 found the anomalies over a large area. These results looked fairly good to me but the timing of the results was unfortunate for EG, which came in between the gold nugget news at Blackhills and the first drill results at Havieron.
Of course the Havieron results out shined
EG and Gervaise issued this statement on 27 Sep 18

I believe 0.2% copper is commercial. The MMI samples look like 0.2%_0.4% but let's wait for the results.
There is a website to look at for commercial grades from memory it's opentext.ca but I will have to check that

What is your disappointment with Ernest Giles?
The gold is still there possibly 2 x 5m oz finds plus other 1m oz camps.
I know Newmont walked away from it and it's been put on the back burner because of Havieron.
It's a big licence and only a small proportion surveyed.
A big nickel find too.
After the Paterson is done and dusted it still could be an exciting project

The MMI results are not indicating high grades and I wouldn't expect they will be as good as Havieron but the volumes could be far bigger.
Until the drill results are in, we can only speculate but remember Gervaises words 'don't discount the arsenic it comes with its own suite of elements'
i.e. Arsenides,tellurides the Platinum Group of Elements
Arsenic grades look moderately high.

Well that got me excited anyway.

I would like to see gold at Scallywag but the MMI results show low grades, was just interested what he'd seen.
The MMI sample survey shows a few high grade copper sites Kraken, in the North of Blackbeard and in the south end of Blackbeard.
The sections through Blackbeard are interesting N to S there is a 3D IP magnetic response coincidence zone in the North and a couple of smaller ones further South. They were supposed to be doing more IP survey work in the South area at the same time as drilling at Kraken. Blackbeard is described as an ultra-high intensity magnetic anomaly 2.6km long x 400m coincident with a moderate amplitude gravity feature. The section doesn't show the coincident over the whole of the length though.
The IP response has an 800m strike length but I don't think it includes the South end.
The section shows the anomaly going beyond the IP survey range at 1400m depth

The Kraken coincidence section looks quite exciting it's very similar to Havieron.
Interesting thing with that section the anomaly continues to the northwest.

An MMI survey is a geochemical tool designed to measure mineral samples in parts per billion. A small pit is dug and soil samples taken from the sides .
Aero surveys are used to find ore anomalies giving off magnetic fields.

It seems to be the low residual gravity targets they have been drilling . I'm presuming that's due to the copper but the science behind it is way passed my old brain :))

For a drilling machine 1500m in 7 days is quite reasonable pace, it would be slower if it was having concrete segments installed.
The pace at what SB is going at I would be disappointed if they use the drill and blast method, it will be like a train hitting the buffers.

Aero magnetic surveys surveys are used to pick up magnetic signatures from ore anomalies containing minerals. They may not go down below 400m but they pick up the magnetic signatures from bodies deeper down.
Ground gravity and surveys are then used to get down between 800-1400m to deeper or bodies, it's the coincidence between these 2 surveys that their looking for

In the NCM presentation last Feb SB said he wanted to start stoping operations as soon as possible from the decline to monetise the project.
Whether that still stands I don't know.
Lenigas said lately the rock was good for drilling machine.
The Decline design is complicated and there is a software system DOTS that works out the route from the known co-ordination start /finish and reduced levels. It also picks up required points on the way.
Tunnelling machines can do about 1mile per week , so to get to the ore surface will take roughly 2-3 weeks that's around 3000km at 6 degrees incline.
The rock from the decline will probably be used for hardcore for the road etc if suitable.
The decline software can save fortunes on drilling costs.
The stoping operation will be a side shoot off the decline towards the ore body.
The decline drilling machine will continue for many months to the optimum level for the bulk mining operation, excess rock will start the waste rock tip.

Also take a look at the drilling logs the grades are getting less but that might be just the drills missing the higher grades.
The important thing is though, this magma source could be under Scallywag and Blackhills

If you look at the Leapfrog schematics the copper grades are at the top of the ore and decreasing lower down.
Lenigas mentioned this the other day.

There probably is a source under Havieron but I wouldn't expect it to be something to get excited about.
The magma core down below maybe iron or magnetite. Most of the elements like copper,gold, iron,lead etc in molten sulphides all cool at different rates leading to higher copper and gold grades nearer to the surface.
I'm expecting the bulk mining to start from about 1250m of ore body. Future ores maybe removed thereafter but only if they're economic.

What I'm more excited about is what Magic's presentation suggested, that the magma could run under Scallywag and Blackhills and has produced similar structures like Havieron.
Different situations faults,vents etc when mixed with the cooling temperatures produce different sulphides and grades.

My firm was taken over by a major house builder and all the options I had outstanding were bought by the buyer .
Capital Gains had to be paid over the limit at that time.

When I first had options come up we would take out short term loans , then sell enough shares to cover the loan.
Why are they all taking them out in a hurry though?
There used to be a time limit of a minimum for 3 years before exercising the options is this the reason?

In the UK the Ordnance Survey reference level is set from the mean level of the high and low tides in Newquay to standardise all levels across the country.

That's just a mean level that they've used as a standard.
