Just a reminder of what is coming at Scallywag from 2018.
HAVIERON is a conspicuous 'bulls-eye' magnetic anomaly, as seen in airborne data sets, with an amplitude of approximately 100nT. There are more than TWENTY magnetic anomalies similar to that observed at Havieron within Greatland's Paterson licences and, in light of the exceptional mineralisation at Havieron, these represent compelling regional exploration targets.
The SCALLYWAG TARGET lies approximately 6km west of the Havieron prospect within the Havieron licence. The Scallywag target, as defined by detailed aeromagnetics (50m line spacing) and ground gravity (400m x 200m) covers an area of approximately 6km x 3km. Interpretation of aeromagnetic and gravity data shows a large scale folded and faulted sequence of prospective Proterozoic basement rocks under some 50m of recent cover. MMI sampling over the Scallywag target was completed in late Q3 2018 at a sample spacing of 400m x 200m; results have been returned and are reported here.
MMI results from Scallywag display discrete elevated gold, copper, silver and arsenic MMI responses along the western parts of the target area over a strike length of some 6km. Supporting pathfinder elements of cerium, lanthanum, iron, lead and uranium are also coincident along this trend with several clusters of samples displaying a strong multi element response. Highest results returned from MMI sampling were 8ppb silver, 50ppb arsenic, 0.4ppb gold, 480ppb cerium, 2750ppb copper, 33ppm iron, 280ppb lanthanum, 240ppb lead and 335ppb uranium. Response of certain groupings (or suites) of elements over parts of the Scallywag target are similar to those seen in MMI and drill core from the Havieron prospect.
The MMI results are not spectacular but the range of minerals looks awesome and over 6 km of strike.
The Kraken anomaly could be 300-400,000cu metres , just the tip showing in the coincidence, I'm really keen to know what secrets it holds.
