But what would happen (if like someone mentioned this morning ) NCM offer 50p for GGP, there would be one almighty stampede and Solgold left in the dust.

Somebody asked me last night to compare Solgold mine with Havieron.
Had a quick look
Grades look lower than Havieron
Tonnage is higher
A lot of silver

Timeline plan handover of mine to operations after commissioning end of 2025/26.
That's 5-6 years Big Gulp.
I stopped looking not for me .

Fortesque 35 km south of Telfer still in early stage exploration
MetalsX - Nifty mine in care and maintenance. Study commissioned to get it up and running with major infrastructure spend.
Open pit - study to look at expanding the exhausted oxide resources and the heap leach fascility
Sulphide copper chalcopyrites below suitable for stoping , concentrate plant needs refurbishment.
Only 10 years left but copper grades at 1.2% no gold grades

Havieron is unique, massive, good grades and will probably outlive most of us, so why look elsewhere, baffles me

What has GGP have in its licences
Havieron - a mining licence with a resource probably the largest find in Australia behind Cadia

Scallywag- 4 targets inc Kraken a Havieron lookalike and Blackbeard 6km x 1 km anomaly with high copper survey results.

Blackhills - Saddle Reefs 1400m long gold anomaly rising at SURFACE plus 3 or 4 other targets

Paterson Range East :- At least 20 targets large area covered by MMI survey plus Goliath a HIGH priority lookalike Havieron target at least 4 times the size.

Panorama:- Large swathe of gold anomaly plus 200 Square kilometres of Cobalt anomalies the largest in Australia.

Warrentina and Firetower:- Both 1m oz gold resource ready for sale

Ernest Giles:- An underexplored licence but early drilling and surveys indicate several 5m oz gold finds and other 1m oz deposits at least 12m total
Plus a large cobalt anomaly at Carnegie.

Bromus :- Early stage Nickel discovery

Rudall :- Early stage Gold discovery.

Anyone that says this is not a £1bn company needs their head looking at

Well I have tried to keep up with this board I'm finding it hard.
Too many posters coming here asking advice about other companies, well I can tell you I can't keep up with this company's research.
What have we got at Havieron a multi million oz resource that I reckon is 13m oz min gold and possibly 10-12m oz gold equivalents (copper etc)
The copper according to GH has a consistent 0.45% grade.
What are the other big mine resources around:-
Forget Artemis still in pre exploration .

Newcrest/ Antipa Early stage exploration plus a mine at Chicken Ranch where the gold quantities are less than 100,000oz

Winu - Rio/ Antipa Copper mine with grades 0.2% and early stage gold exploring.

Telfer gold mine. multi- million oz
and copper grades 0.1%

Can you see what I'm getting at, GGP have a once in a lifetime resource that probably won't be replicated again in many of our lifetimes.
No wonder Newcrest are falling over themselves to get the mine going, they've got it on the cheap. By heavens thank goodness they have or we would still be looking at the sand dunes.

I noticed the PFS end of 2021 yesterday and I got a bit muddled with it as somewhere I've read or heard that the PFS was due end of this year with the MRE figures .
15 months from now seems a long time to produce this.
Would they have made a mistake and should it have been the FS by end of 2021.
Perhaps not but it does seem a longtime.

Normally the Decline wouldn't commence without a PFS. This operation is definitely outside the scope of the jv and our share will have to be paid unless there are amendments to the jv.

They don't need to do any drilling for the road that will be done with plate compaction tests unless they need foundations for a bridge or other structures.
There should be a lot of drilling soon away from the mine area where they intend to heap the spoil mounds, to test the integrity of the ground below it. Especially with the Decline starting soon it will need to be done before then.
Remember they had an expensive tailing dam collapse at Cadia due to the ground collapsing under the weight.

Thanks for that you can really see how the cobalt effects the equivalents values.
1300ppm that's very high.
I had noticed they dropped the Cobalt from the headings and Newcrest are quiet on it.
Someone mentioned about gravity circuits the other day well Telfer have a sophisticated computerised sorter before it the ore goes into the floatation process.
This should sort out some of the cobalt but most will be in the Chalcopyrites and the floatation process is the best to extract the minerals from these. Very difficult to quantify I would imagine.

The growth of electric cars will create a global shortage of Cobalt forecasters are predicting over $100,000 pt.
Newcrest will extract it no doubt about that.

In one interview GH was excited about HAD44 and it's 1.1% copper and that rates were consistently above 0.45%.
He stated that the copper is worth at least 1g/t gold equivalent throughout.
That blows my rough estimate out of the water, just around the SE end would be over 7m oz equivalent.

That's 2.5 years to complete the jv that was programmed for 6 years

An Initial MRE Dec 2020
This should come as 2 forms an Indicated and an Inferred Resource.
Indicated is what they expect to find.
inferred- an estimated resource they are expecting to find.

Both can be updated as the mine progresses.

4bn shares is not a great amount for an exploration company that's gone through the build process and doesn't need more dilution to keep the lights on.
Anymore dilution will give more value for less shares there is definitely no need for consolidation, the share needs to be liquid.
Consolidation in the wrong hands can only lead to shareholders losing out and there are many examples and then a name change to make things alright (not).
E.g. Stellar Resources consolidation now Prim
LGO consolidation then Cerp now BPC
Rare Earth Minerals consolidation now Kadence

They all dilute so much they have to consolidate so they can dilute again to keep the lights on.
Classic fault with AIM shares.
In the right hands consolidation works for the shareholders e.g. Wolesley around £25 shot up afterwards to over £50.
Croda ( my wife's super share) consolidation and return of equity then shot passed £50.

Consolidation in the right hands is good for shareholders, but in the wrong hands they're shafted
GH and CB are both Right handed :))

Have a look at the Antipa web site. The joint venture licenses with NCM surround Telfer and they have the Chicken Ranch mine bit to the N.
I can't see the Telfer plant becoming redundant for the next decade or two.
NCM say they have enough to mine for the next 5-10 years after that there will be all these new projects around enough to refill the Telfer mine with their tailings.
Telfer needs Havieron to keep it's Tier 1 status and all the benefits that brings to NCM.
