When posters were forecasting ridiculous figures of 20-25p I thought they were in dreamland.
Mickey's figure of 64-74p now looks a fair bet.

27 x 0.16p =£4.50

Will it get there I doubt it but then I said that about 25p

The big boys will swallow us up before dreams can become true :))

You need to check out the cross sections 1 and 2 on the web site for Havieron and then you will be able to see why they have stepped the drill position out so far.
The angle of the drill to hit the deep levels has to step out further especially with the 400m of cover above the target.
The same has happened on the other extremities

Regarding Ernest Giles the last Rns about it seemed quite upbeat but it went very quiet.
I know it's been overshadowed by GH taking over the helm and Havieron.
The last drilling expanded Meadows.
Newmont' departure must have hindered exploration after using their DSG surveying system.

They are still saying on the web site 5m oz targets plus 1m oz camps.
Then there's the nickel at Carnegie a large anomaly.
You can't be everywhere as they say!

Trying to get my head around what could be in the High Grade Zone.
It's complicated.
Looking at massive sulphides on a web site called earthsci.org and it gives descriptions of different massive sulphide occurrences.
On Ggp RNSs the description is ' sulphide mineral assemblage contains well developed pyrrhotite-chalcopyrite and pyrite'
Pyrrhotite is an iron sulphide
Chalcopyrite - CuFeS2 - copper pyrite
Pyrite - fools gold

Chalcopyrites are used in yoga as Chakras that give well being
Pyrites are used in Feng Shui as a sign of abundance and wealth

So the High Grade Zone contains an abundance of wealth and well being :)))))

While it's quiet and a couple of glasses of red I've found what I think GH meant by don't discount the arsenic as it comes with its own suite of metals.
Arsenic can come in 2 forms arsenades and arsenides it's the latter that interests me.
There are 15 that I know of but not necessarily what they are. I overlooked Stillwaterite which is a palladium arsenide and also Sperrylite which is a platinum arsenide.
I've not seen any mention of these 2 sulphides at Havieron or Scallywag but they are in the suite of minerals that come with Arsenic that GH mentioned.

The switch from diesel cars to petrol in the last few years has increased the demand for palladium as it's used in the catalytic converters of petrol cars . Platinum is used in diesel car catalysts.
Palladium has a higher price than gold.

There's a great video of the process at Cadia on NCM web site.
The grinding process goes through numerous large drums which contain large iron balls and by the end of it comes out about pea size. From there it goes into the cyanide circuit to separate the gold, but not all of it.
The next process is the floatation where must of the minerals are forced to the surface with aeration. The sulphides are extracted as sulphuric acid.
The scum on the surface is removed and this is the copper concentrate when roasted. It forms as a powder before it is sent off to SE Asia for turning into copper mattes about 1mx1mx15mm thick.
These mattes are 30% copper and good % of iron and all the other minerals.
The mattes are re smelted into anodes and by electrolysis turned into cathodes 99.9%. The residue at the bottom also contain high levels of gold etc as they are not attracted to the cathode and fall away when the copper atoms move from the anode to the cathode.

Not all copper ores contain the same minerals
At Havieron there is chalcopyrites which has a formula of Cu2feS2 from memory
Which means about 30% copper and iron sulphide. This is the main source of the copper and other minerals.
There is another type of copper ore that has 65% copper but that's not at Havieron.
Scallywag has it's own gems Lanthanum and Cerium. Also arsenic comes out of the copper, GH says don't discount the arsenic it comes with its own suite of minerals. Best one I know of is Aluminium arsenide used in semi conductors

It's an unknown resource quantity due to it being inclusive of the copper ores.
Gold is the massive resource here, Cobalt is just a very good bonus but if the price does go up 5 fold due to shortage of supply where would Mickey's target stand then.
I'm on tenterhooks if they find any MolyBdenum but that may be too much to ask. NCM are building a new plant for it at Cadia adding $45m to revenues

I don't know if this will be anywhere near correct but just noticed at Minyari Antipa have an inferred resource of Cobalt at 460ppm and 3,540 tonnes.
Ggp's Havieron has 4104ppm that's 9 x the size.
9x 3540 = 32,000t x $33,300per ton = over $1bn or $300,000 to Ggp

Newcrest seem to have got a lot for their money with that jv and 10% of Antipa quite cheaply at the start. From memory I think the jv is over 8 years but the area is far bigger than Ggp's.

My feelings are if Ggp sell to NCM the carrot and stick approach will have gone and will be competing for NCMs attention probably at a cheaper price.
I don't think it will happen Ggp are good at finding great targets and will be useful to NCM

I just been digging up my prize carrot, it's a very good quality and size. Dug down 6' and still can't find the end of the root , if I break the root it's no longer a show carrot.
Went back out . . . B.....y rabbit got it.

So get all the gold out before someone nabs it :))

Just looking at the Antipa cross section at Minyari they have an indicated mineral resource down to a certain depth and then an unfinished inferred resource lower down to be proved later.
This is what I would expect at Havieron

I was looking at the 2020 Aug presentation.
My daft complicated brain has already made up a joint venture with Antipa and Newcrest on Parlay. When you look at the survey maps Parlay straddles the boarder:))

Antipa/ Newcrest areas are as close as 3km from Telfer. It could get very busy at Telfer.
Antipa's jv with Rio and NCM don't look half as good as Ggp's
Their 100% owned licence looks promising at Minyari

I don't think I've ever seen another firms project detailed on a company presentation.

A couple of years ago my finger was in the air hoping for 20-25p as a max then Mickey came along with his very high target, now I'm holding 5 fingers up cos I think Mickey's estimate is far too low.

I found some interesting charts on the BHP website that show historical gold finds. Since 2000 the number of Tier 1 asset finds have dropped dramatically.
They are becoming rarer.

Incidentally I didn't realise Newcrest was formed from a merger between BHP and Newmont (Australia) in 1990.

I think the answer to your question lies with SB presentations.
He said he wants to get the decline going by the end of the year and start a small stoping operation from it.
To my understanding the Pre Feasibility Study does not need a comprehensive MRE to start a mining operation.
The Full Feasibility Study will require an MRE but can still be added to if new resources are found.
It's therefore what NCM need it to be to progress their plans
