Ggp announced the acquisition of Havieron on 26th September 2016 from Pacific Trends Resources.
Part of the deal contains a clause on a decision to mine and Ggp will issue shares of around 145m approx $500,000 at the time.
That figure now is worth over £23m
Not a bad return for them.

I started out as a land surveyor on the M5 and Aberfan so am suppose to be good at map reading when my eyes let me.
I'm only an enthusiastic amateur, spent many years studying oil structures. The exploration drilling and surveys are very much the same.
The bright shiny stuff is much better than the black yukky stuff :))

My assumptions are based on studying the cross sections and survey data.
If you look at cross sections 3,4 and5 it shows the high grade as being a thin narrow structure petering out.
The new breccias zone is shown open at depth.
The shape of the historic ground gravity survey is roughly following the crescent arms wrapping around the new breccias zone.
The unreported drills look as though they are outside the survey anamoly. If the drills are to be angled to find the depth then they will be sited out towards the NW.
If my assumptions are anywhere near then there may not be anymore drills in this area except if they want to go deeper and there maybe 1 or 2 in that instance.

The new breccias zone is within the ground magnetic survey see Paddy's map with the drill positions marked. The unreported drills to the north west are outside this zone and probably define the extent. The high grade zone is very thin at this point and not so deep.

When all the excitement dies down with Havieron I'm sure the Au/Co Panorama licences will start it all off again.
Very underexplored although Ggp have done an aerial magnetic survey over a small proportion of the area.
There are 3 licences E45/4936, E46/1170 in the North and E46/1166 in the south.
The aerial geophysics, rock chip samples and geochemical survey were carried out in 2017 and 2019 along a fault line straddling the border of the 2 northern licences.
E45/4936 contains at least 1historic gold mine.
Rock chip samples found a high of 18g/t but historic high of 66/g/t.
The gold deposits here are different to Havieron type mineralisation they're more alluvial/ stream deposits probably nuggety.
20 gold stream anamoly have been found.
The geochemical survey increased the historic strike length from 3.2km to 6.1km and several lines are still open.
4 samples were found over 100ppb and one exceeded the limit of 2000ppb.
One significant area has gold values >50ppb over 600m x 200m.

Cobalt is found throughout the Pilbara and especially over the 3 licences but the definitive source has not been located.
The Southern licence is very underexplored apart from stream analysis where cobalt values 50-70ppb. There are at least 5 cobalt anamoly over an area of 200 square kilometres.

Drills UNR23,31,37,50,51 are all to the NW just outside the anamoly so that could be the closure of the crescent. Only my assumptions:))

There are 2 cross sections numbers 3&4
In the SE there are 3 drills and 2 off shoots 60,68,71,60W1 and 68w1 .
They're all stepped out to hit the right angle at depth.
I would expect the same will happen in the NW and the last drills to be way outside the zone.
Had54 drill was stepped out to hit the right angle but still found to be in the Breccia zone.
The shape of the new Breccias area seems to be following the historic ground magnetic anamoly wayout from historic drill Hac9503

The map of Havieron showing the drilling has 5 cross sections marked on it.
Cross sections 1 & 2 are the two that show the south west drills.
To get to the ore body at the right depth and angle they've followed that angle up to the surface.
On section 1 there are 4 drills 55,62,63,71
On section 2 it shows 55 again and 58,64
Those 6 holes are in the SW just to get the correct angle to hit the ore body.
There are holes to the NE as well for the same reason

Three of us meet on Mondays in the Rose and Crown in Severn Stoke, you would be very welcome, you might know my 2 friends they know everyone :))

My personal view on Scallywag is that the grades will not be as high as Havieron especially the gold only because the surveys have indicated lower finds.
The emphasis seems to be on the copper a lot of other minerals as well.
However the shear size of Blackbeard could produce large amounts. One or two holes on Blackbeard will be lost it needs another drilling campaign on its own.
They've missed out Blackhills South this time another large structure and seem to be heading for Parlay in this campaign.
It's already been picked out as high grade gold play and may produce the short term goods.
Kraken a high play bullseye target will probably give some high grade results but my expectations for gold are conservative.
Any new joint venture to my mind will be Scallywag and Blackhills together.
Blackhills is described as an advanced project, high grade gold finds from the surveys.
Saddle reefs a prospective high grade
3 km strike length with an ore body defined at 1400m long and rising to the surface in the NW.
Eastern has a prospective 4km strike length but with lower gold grades.
Parlay partially sat over the next licence belonging to Antipa and Newcrest.

Even though I think of myself as a West Country lad my Mums dad was born in Daisy Street, Colne, he was no Daisy hard as nails and scary, so there's a bit of me from there but I don't like to admit it.

"Opera North - the Bolero" if you haven't seen it I should take a look. There are other things they have done just as good.
Bit envious nothing like that in Worcester although there is a sing song in the Mug House and the Appalachian tap dancers as well :)) Great garden pub.

Well I was surprised to see the copper alliance in the UK is being wound up and moved to Europe. The web site won't be around much longer, there's some good stuff on there showing how copper is processed and some RIO videos.
200 years ago the UK was the worlds leading producer now not a lot :((

Meetings are very difficult at the moment to organise, the pubs I use do not want more than 6 at one table.
Myself and 2 friends also shareholders meet every Monday and Flashy500 said he might join us soon at the Rose and Crown, Severn Stoke. Will quieten down after the 50% thing has finished.

Ggp said they were going to complete surveys to the southern end of Scallywag to coincide with the drilling.
The camp might be accommodating the survey teams as well.
