The latest news comes from the Camp Dome area.

Landtracker maps has shown a prospecting application P45/3239 on the southern boundary to the Camp Dome licence.

This is quite revealing as under a prospecting licence they are allowed to remove upto 500 ton of material. It’s only a small area but where it is shows us what they could be after.

A 2013/14 report gave a detailed geological assessment of the Camp Dome. The western edge of an anticline which looks like where the fluid pathway came up as this is where the sulphides are, of which chalcopyrites and pyrites are some of the constituents. Chalcopyrites (30% copper) and Bornite (60% cu) are seen in the cores.

At the date of the report copper prices were around $2.5/ lb and no gold was observed so the Camp Dome was sidelined.

These sulphides are near surface, so they could be after large sample loads for testing through the plant, that’s conjecture on my part but logical.

The main prize though is the supergene “ blanket” to the east observed over 1000m long and 400m wide from a few metres thick to 54m. Formed from copper being weathered out of the surrounding rocks and trapped in a layer of rich chalcocite ore. Chalcocite is the main source of copper globally containing 79.8% copper.

This new application could be the start of a major copper operation, a large open pit down to about 70m.

Other areas are changing hands, I don’t quite know what’s going on to the west of Redsetter. This big licence has 2000m of cover there. WSBN have applied for the Western half and Ouest minerals bordering Redsetter. The confusion then is Mining Equities have applied for all of it. 🤷‍♂️

The satellite images are showing works over the top of the saddle on Stage, the waste is being removed to a strip of land between 2 existing mounds and it’s filling fast. The strip has taken away the top layer by the looks of things as a new track has shown up on the north side for easier access to the tip.

I don’t take much notice of statements like that as you have to take in Depletion of reserves as well.

What the gold price rise does do is the increase in the pit shell cut offs.

March quarterly gave a potential pit shell in the West Dome pit as Aus$3450 with a gold price of between US$2600-2900.

In June quarterly gave a potential pit shell of AUS$4500 at a gold price between US3200-3400

Now we have a gold price of US$3600 and rising this may increase the pit shell cut off to AUS$5000

The result will be more ore and much longer mine life.

The West Dome pit could have a mine life of 15-20 years dependant on mineralisation viability and could increase with the cut off increases

The NSR figure includes costs, I think that’s why a high copper price was used

The estimates for Havieron’s first year I think was around 1.6m tons. As I’ve said many times this first Ore is in a very high grade zone where Had005 went through.

Shaun has stated many times at 4g/t.

Let’s go down a bit and say 3g/t just for gold

1.6mt x 3 ./. 31.1 = 154,320oz ( less recovery factor)

X $5400 gold price is Aus$833m

A revised reserve figure should come with the FS

Been a longtime shall have to refresh my memory but I think we should be looking at around 4.5moz just for Havieron, I think from 2.9moz.

We mustn’t take our eye off of Havieron it is still a very unique orebody not likely to be repeated in our lifetime if not at all.

The thing is we’re in touching distance of its Feasibility Study , a major milestone.

This FS is going to be huge in size , with a reserve on this asset it should increase the asset value on Greatland balance sheets.

It’s a massive hurdle to overcome, the risks will have gone.

Most of the gold we sell is within the copper concentrate that is sold to customers in China, Japan etc they pay in US$ its then converted back to Aus$. As Shaun told us in his Townhall meetings.

The exchange rate also has a big part to play in our revenues .

In the March quarter they produced 30,000oz @A$4,585 = A$137,330,000

I’m not expecting 30,000 this month that was exceptional but around 26,000 would be really good.

26,000 x A$5300 = A$137,800,000

Could be a cracking month.

I’m not bitter I couldn’t care less about Wishbone, been shafted too many times by DL to invest in anything he’s involved with.

The people you are trying to get to invest in them now will probably get burned at some point and it will be partially down to you.

Those cores they’ve shown so far do not look that favourable at the moment.

Havieron is unique its area size gives favourable drilling expenses at 450m. Anything larger than that will need an exponential percentage of drills on top of that and being over 100m deeper more expensive on top. Getting down there with a decline will be horrendous. Greatland need to sit this one out we don’t need it at all.

I think you need to reevaluate your statement whatever the grades it’s too deep.

Ggp had a great intercept at Rudall from memory 22m @ 18g/t but it was 600m down. One drill and it’s in the bottom draw.

Redsetter going to 750m will go the same way as Nimitz did for Artemis.

If as the herd says it’s bigger than Havieron you will have to times the number of drills at Havieron many fold to get to a FS.

Why would Greatland be remotely interested in Redsetter, yes they applied for it when WSBN admin went haywire but that was probably more to prevent others jumping in.

If Greatland had got that licence it would have sat there for sometime in the future.

Let WSBN drill it out to PFS if they can get the finance, why should Ggp spend their cash on it when we have enough capex to fund on other projects.

The same goes for any other wannabies around Telfer.

The only small firm they seem to want to help is Aventine who are buying into Panorama, PRE and Blackhills.

We don’t need others ores for a considerable number of years.

Jumping into a company that’s had a huge rise will lead to loads of folks underwater and will face big dilution .

I prefer to stay where I am, boring at the moment but the excitement is just about to start.

This shows basement depths from the surface, around the edge there are 4 contours 100m, 500m , 1000m and 2,000m

The new licence will be on the white area above 100m.

Redsetter for instance is on the left of the Telfer badge. The 500 and 1000m contours run through the centre of the licence, this is like a 500m cliff deep down.

To the north of this WSBN have applied for a large licence which is mostly in that deep blue area 1000-2000m deep to basement rocks.

Just been reading Industrial minerals website, it seems there’s some dealings with Wishbone on parts of that licence for quartz extraction.

Those small licences you are referring to most were discarded by Antipa.

Greatland new application is nowhere near Redsetter it’s on the SE side of Paterson south.
