Stage 7 is all about waste stripping and sending some weak ore to the leach pad in the northern area.

Stage 2 was stopped for a while to sort out the pumping system, cyclone and exploration drilling. Stage 2 at the moment is around 1g/t but it increases to around 3 as it goes lower. As stage 7 goes lower more mineralised ore becomes available this can be seen on the sections with Kriging cubes drawn in.

The ROM stockpiles are taking up the slack from the open pit reduction in ore.

The open pit recovery will gradually increase over the next few quarters to reduce the stockpile intake.

This last quarter I feel will be on the low end of the forecast due to the open pit stripping etc but should be near the high end by June. I can’t really see it hitting the 80koz apart from the the oz that weren’t sold as the highest grades with best recoveries are in Stage 2 which hasn’t been worked on until the 16th which could be too late for sales figures.

I think the shut down this time was put back a week due to Stage 2 coming back on line, that’s only my thoughts but seems logical.

Looks like they’re removing ore from Stage 2 at the bottom of the pit according to the satellite images from the 16th September 21st and 26th.

Not before those dates from what I can see, that’s great news back into the higher grades.

Also looks like they’re leaching weak ore in the northern leach pads but bit blurred so not quite sure.

I’m expecting lower end of the forecasted ounces around 65,000 oz but there were 18,000oz not sold from last quarter to be added on and then some not sold this quarter in the concentrate at the processors. I think that maybe less this time.

The dust from blasting the waste from Stage 7 waste stripping looks to have smothered a big area over pits 10 and 11, this is continuing but difficult to see any progress.

I hope the copper quantities are similar to last quarter, I think they could be lower but fingers crossed. They received $12,718/ ton last time, it’s upto $16k I believe at the moment. At the same tonnage could bring in net revenues of $60m instead of $48m.

The next meeting is at Stroud on October 21st . We have a full room for that one. Will be really pleased to see everyone again.

The way the Havieron ore body has been formed the main mineralisation is gold and copper, this is also down into the Eastern breccia where very long intercepts have been reported 320m @2g/t. They will not want to lose this mineralisation anything else will go in the concentrate to the processors.

I don’t believe they will be finding economical credits for other minerals. The intrusions coming in would have weakened these credits but enriched the gold and copper.

Cobalt is the only mineralisation I’ve seen that is in any form of concentration, to achieve this we may lose some of the copper and it looks too expensive to produce.

Newcrest reported that Kriging estimation boundaries could not be formed for anything other than gold and copper.

I think the nickel mineralisation will not be able to form Kriging boundaries. Future underground drilling may reverse that statement but does look uncertain.

To have another credit would be an absolute game changer and lower the AISC right down. This has happened at Cadia where the moly has reduced their AISC below $100.

Concentrations of Tungsten have been found in the top of the ore in the northern front according to Damien Stephen’s presentation.

Preston is not ideal for me it took 4 hours to get there on way to Stirling. You could arrange a meet yourself without my involvement, I’m sure Rotherby would help.

There was a big lack of interest from investors up the whole of the M6, but quite a few from Yorkshire hence Derby and Sheffield.

Bristol, Sheffield and Calver are investors pubs so it’s nice to support these.

There are masses of drills in the A reefs not reported yet

I’ve no idea where Tarkin is except it’s underground

They look to be 10m spacings.

It seems to be in the centre of the pit as that sump can just be seen in the satellite images.

The previous results are showing a high grade zone underneath at around 3g/t.

I’m not sure how much they’ve removed from that area since the previous drilling but the high grade was about 100m down.

A 10m spacing would allow for a reserve MRE to be issued

I’m hoping the Feasibility Study doesn’t rush to get the tonnage up to 4mt.

PFS 2mt @ 3.6g/t is 230koz per year

3mt @ 2.6g/t is 240koz

4mt @1.7 g/t is 220koz

Concentrating on the higher grade sulphides sounds a more profitable route in my opinion.

100,000 ton stopes Shaun mentioned, in the admissions document I think the size was 20m x 30m x 50m long works at around 90,000 tons.

50m long is roughly the average width across the high grade sulphides . 100kt stopes at 3mt per year is 30 stopes , that number requires numerous levels down to 800-1000m due to the decreasing number per level as it goes down . It’s going to take a few years for the decline and infrastructure to get down that deep.

To get 40-45 large stopes I personally am not expecting this till either they start the northern pods or get down into the Eastern Breccia. Going to be interesting to see where this extra tonnage is coming from but it will inevitably come with lower grades.

In the short term I would like to see a ramp up in production of the very high A reefs +5g/t and a quick start to the ESC 3 g/t as the infrastructure is basically there already. Maybe a higher AISC but hardly any capex spend and nearly an immediate start.

The hoist can handle 6mt, they’ve ramped up production from 260kt to 290kt so the hoist is there waiting for more.

Then bring in as soon as possible the WDD at 4g/t.

Havieron ore has maximum of 6 months processing so I am expecting the underground to utilise the rest of the spare capacity of one train if possible. The open pit can utilise the other train.

There may be no news coming out from the company but I keep finding stuff.

That Prospecting licence by Camp Dome that they’ve applied for , this is not far from recent drill pads and drill holes.

It’s situated between Camp Dome and 17 mile hill and there’s another prospect to the south. A geological report I read recently suggests a sulphide intrusion got to the surface on the west side of Camp Dome.

On a Prospecting licence they’re allowed to extract upto 500 tons for test sampling I would suspect.

Camp Dome is a big copper supergene target from 0-53m deep 1,000mx 400m or more. It has an MRE but the drilling spacings are too great and Newmont took it out of their MRE, a chance to add more copper tonnages and maybe gold ounces in those sulphides.

Figure 1 shows the new development drive being taken over the WDD

Figure 11 shows the proposed new drilling from the old drilling pads on the exploration drive.

These latest drills are still too far away to achieve a complete model of the orebody and looks like they don’t intend to wait for the new drive to be constructed. When this new drive is constructed they will be able to go deeper down and towards the extremities.

The drills we’ve been told will be infilling to 25m spacings to form a reserve resource but also to find out the extent of an 80m wide stockwork underneath the high grade LLU, this could be 700+m x 80m x 4-500m deep. It could put mega years on the mine life and possibly see another bulk cave situation.

No wonder Shaun, me and everyone else is excited by it. 🙂

I think Shaun skipped over the reality of the Mine Life of the West Dome pit his 2 years to 2029 I believe is only the Stage 7 and part of stage 2.

Stage 7 is a narrow strip at the top every 25m down the benching the area widens 50-100m depending on ramps. As it goes down it starts to incorporate the central expansion zone, stage 7 expansion zone and into stage 2. The amount of ore removal is more like 10 years.

That’s without that blue shaded area that’s many years work and then it will expand into pits 10 and 11 to the north.

The Main Dome pit hasn’t been talked about yet.

He also skimmed over the processing regime, he said the 4mt from Havieron would be augmented with Telfer underground.

I believe the pit ore will still be going through the other train.

4mt will keep one train going for 5-6 months, so the question is will the main dome underground utilise the spare capacity in that train.

100,000 ton stopes to get to 4mt equates to 40 stopes on 3mt that’s 30 stopes. Well there’s only 5 or 6 that can be worked on one level. That’s around 8 levels of stopes per year but the crescent decreases as it goes down so probably 12 levels per year , 800m depth of ore at least. The underground crusher / conveyor needs to be lower than this.

The paste backfilling needs to be right behind the stopes being completed. That’s why the paste plant infrastructure is part of the pre production package.

Was great to meet some of the Scottish investors last night even when I had trouble understanding their questions. They seemed to follow my accent though.

Before all that, is this sale of a lot of our licences to Aventine group party Ltd . Information is difficult to find on anything to do with this company.

Must be something to do with Shaun knowing them, will Shaun be helping them with a jv , I’ve no idea very intriguing.
