This is from my post 5th February describing NCM mining plan
“ The 4.5g/t equivalent is the average grade from the PFS for the whole stoping operation for the sulphides.
The top stope in the first mining front is where HAD005 went through and I worked out the average was 8.22g/t gold and 3% copper , so your initial monthly revenues are way low.
The 3rd front however has weak grades and then the 4th front level is higher than the 1st level.
Revenues will be up and down.

The 3m ton pa will include the increase in the sulphides volumes that have been coming in with the infill drilling and some of the breccia.
This first 2m initial ore production looks very exciting and as I’ve mentioned could pay the whole capex of the mine including SLOS and bulk caving”

It’s a bit different now from Ggp mining plan
Top level is now only 30m deep
Capex was about $10m for a 120m deep level from the Decline, so capex now will a lot lower for 30m depth.
Where HAD005 went through sizes approximately 50x75m x 30m deep @ say 5g/t = 55,000 oz
$1200 after deducting AISC
Ggp 25% around $16m for gold
Just for that sulphide zone

Copper grades average 3%
Copper works out at $20m for Ggp

Total $36m for a portion of that 1st Western Front level for less than $10m capex

Grades further down and to the east are lower but around the fourth level are higher than the first level.

Don’t listen to posters banging on about capex costs running into many millions , there’s far more in revenues coming.

Pete that’s not correct in someways.
You have missed the point totally on the Fitst ore coming out.
Go back to HAD005 and see what grades are at the very top , this is where the first ore is coming from 10g/t and 8% copper.
We don’t need to see great tonnages coming out at the start to pay most of the continual capex.
As Paddy says it’s a top down operation, ore coming out will pay for the next level down and more besides.

You say you’re not knocking this but your style of input is ever so much knocking and digging at people, it’s not needed here

It’s not a mystery why Havieron has had more drilling, well in the main ore body anyway.
Within the ovoid it’s a very varied makeup of mineralisation, the Kriging boundaries used to compute volumes need to be located.

Now look at the Eastern breccia 4-5 drills and they produced so much of it in the MRE, that’s a sign of a more consistent ore body which we know it is by the intercept lengths.

Perhaps anybody comparing Solg with Havieron should look at comparisons with the EB not the ovoid

What has been missed by many that the Broker capex costs for 2m ton Pa retrieveable was $381m total but that included infrastructure costs and the Decline which they quote at $112m, so that’s $269m costs for the stoping
30% of $269m = $ 80.7m
That’s the first ore profit for one year.

I posted a long time ago quoting that this coming year would be tough with the capex issue but Shaun has it in hand I’m very confident with him in charge

The new mining plan has improved these figures but are still relevant

“In the PFS announcement they produced a mining plan to remove 18m tons of ore over 9 years.
The 2m tons per annum is from a stoping operation.
With the oncoming Feasibility Study they are looking at a 3m ton operation from a stoping operation.
They were looking at a 6m ton operation from a sub level caving operation but more information on the Dyke has revealed it sloping too much, so the SLC has been shelved at this moment.
2 to 3m ton operation will be transported to Telfer by road trains.
A 2m ton operation will need 44 of these trains per day carrying on average 125t

The capex for a SLOS operation will be $387m in total including the early works campaign of $112m.
When the Decline reaches the ore estimated capex will be $275m for the stoping.
There are 9 mining fronts on 4 levels
3 fronts on the top 2 levels
2 on the 3rd level
1 on the 4th level
Each level is split into Western,Eastern and Northern
Western had 4 fronts
Eastern has 3 fronts
Northern has 2 fronts

The first production will come from the Western Front Level 1
Within this level 1 front there are 3 stoping levels going down 120m to the bottom of this front.
The main Decline will need to go down another 830m to get to the bottom of this front , so while this happening there is a 100m access tunnel to get to the Western front top stoping level.
There is about 170m Western access Decline where a series of stopes are driven into the ore, 3 shafts are also required here.
Capex of $275m for all the 9 fronts, that’s about $30m for each Front.
There’s roughly 2m ton in this first Front.
This first front will need
3 access Declines of 100m each
3 Western Access declines of 170m each
3 shafts from ground level to underside of Front

What I’m trying to say is the capex to get to the first zone is not that great around $10m from the Decline

There has been a lot of criticism about Shaun and our sp on here over the last year.
To me this is totally unjustified and shortsighted.
He came here with a long term goal and he is sticking to it and so he should.

Take for instance 2 of my stocks that have recently come out of the bottom draw.
Two CEOs with long term goals.
Leon of JLP has dragged this around from failure and it’s revenue is increasing rapidly, in turn funding exponential growth which in turn is exponentially increasing revenue. The sp is languishing at present with its own shorts but is on an upward trend. Now expanding internationally.
Graham at SOU is starting to pull Sound out of the gutter, getting into production on the start of its long term plans.
Both issued reports today worth taking a look to read.

I would say Shaun is a bit behind these 2 in his goals at the moment encumbered by decisions made by the previous Board. This won’t last long though, once into production with first ore growth here will be exceptional and will soon overtake them.
I showed why with my post on First Ore the revenues on that will be phenomenal and will soon pay debts back and future capex.
Shaun said many times on Monday about this high grade First Ore will pay all the capex for the whole mine.
This long term goal has just started this is going to be phenomenal.

There’s not a lot a MD can do about his companies sp only other than maintaining a consequential growth plan.
The sp will catch up at some point.
Everybody is frustrated with it but the only thing to do is to sit tight and buy on dips and wait for the rocket

I must have missed that about the SLC.
I can’t see that happening on the east side of the Dyke, the way the incline is diminishing that side at about 600m depth would prevent gravity drop of the ore.
The environmental submission has a plan showing stoping tunnels within the Northern corridor to remove the high grade, so I haven’t seen any SLC plans.
Shaun said they were still progressing mining plans and both companies have teams exploring more options but personally think SLC won’t be used here but hope I’m wrong cos backfilling is costly, capex has more than doubled because of it.
Backfilling though could be used to help stabilise the Dyke during bulk caving, not too sure on that though it will be a big overhang

950m from the top of the ore will require 6,650m length of Decline all in spirals.
By that depth we will need a conveyor.
Shaun was insistent that trucking the ore out initially is the way to get cash to pay for the conveyor decline, no intention of funding it before hand.
He was concerned about NCM wanting to bring in Volvo trucks to remove the ore out of the decline. They only hold 40T max instead of the 65T trucks at present.
I can only assume the lighter trucks would not churn up the Decline floor so much as the heavier ones.
At the moment they are sending a grader down to keep levelling it out.
The weight of the trucks could be squeezing the moisture to the surface softening the ground.
If I was involved I would plough in a lime/cement mix into the floor to stabilise it for it a while.

It’s gone outside the ore body to the south and showing an intercept way outside but not reported it.

Will it go deeper than 1300 is the question?
Well it certainly looks as though it will and with Shaun saying on Monday they intend to keep drilling from the Decline whenever the depths allow ie 150m deep,300m 400m and deeper.
Somebody wrote yesterday about going deeper won’t be commercially viable.
This is a vertical ore body it’s unique who knows what the viability will be in years to come.
Pressures will dictate the viability that’s the problem at Witswaterand in South Africa
Not only atmospheric pressure but also the rock pressures shattering, this is happening at depths of 3,500 to 4000m

Don’t take it personally I was expressing my views as if you had heard Shaun yesterday being very passionate about making this company a multi mine, multi billion dollar concern you would have realised what my remark was about.
He is stuck with this 5% nightmare but any bid he will fight tooth and nail to keep hold of the 25% asset.
It is attracting top mining people to the company.
Who ever bids for this is going to pay heavy, I don’t believe it will happen, Shaun is not going to let go of his dream.

At MRE2 the depth of the crescent went from 800-1150
That is a mining plan depth of 800m on the 10th March and confirmed increase of ore down to 1150m.

What do you all think of the depth now 11 days on?

Well it’s now got the ore depth to 1300m.

A consequential increase in 11 days :))

Concentrate on these increases instead of that damn 5%, I don’t like it and Shaun hates it, not of his choosing.

By the way 1300m is what I based my calcs on but with one of drills going down another 150m

Chatting to a lot of “readers” yesterday and at Stroud , I was amazed at the numbers that have filtered certain individuals on this bulletin board, I would be really embarrassed by the situation and quietly disappear.
