RE: Shaun Day, MD at Greatland Gold, presenting and taking questions on London South East today22 Mar 2022 08:08
Sat next to Paddy and Shaun put up a slide showing the grams/m chart and we both said together WOW!
10,000oz/m
The best in Australia !
Other mines may have more oz/m but they need more infrastructure/capex to get it out.
He said the 3m ton/annum was now over 12 years
The next one made me more excited showing the section through the SE crescent showing the increases.
I sketched to show Paddy the depth below that slide and Shaun put up the next section showing what I had just sketched:))))
An updated Mining plan from the MRE a 6th level and longer wider stopes taking in more high grade ore.
Remember the grades are increasing here at depth.
Shaun kept saying this zone was 6g/t
SD really excited by the Eastern Breccia a new high grade sulphide zone outside the main ore body.
He couldn’t answer my question regarding the shape and size of the ore body, not too sure he grasped what I was after but pointed out that the North Western end has only been drilled getting to the SE crescent. Costs have been kept down by reusing these holes to get to the SE crescent .
That’s not strictly as is but the gist is the orebody size it’s still not defined.
He mentioned the exploration drilling will continue underground when the Decline is deeper.
He said at the moment the Decline is still in the 1m advance at a time stage but a 2-2.5m stage will be very soon then increasing to 4m afterwards
