Tricky, whenever I have my balls out on display I always use a good quality sun screen....although I should probably check the small print on my house insurance just in case!

At close of play on December 31st 2020 the SP will be 243p....according to my crystal ball.

RustyB, I cannot blame you for showing signs losing patience with R1 and possibly now TRMR. Jam tomorrow has been a staple diet for investors in this company. The best that can be said - especially after the Unruly deal - is that they have lots of potential (also based on management comments). Hopefully 2020 will be the year when results start to show that they are delivering on that potential....but I wouldn't be surprised if management find a way to blame Unruly integration on a slower increase in performance than expected.

If management do start getting things right then the current SP may look cheap....hence why I suspect people are currently investing in TRMR on the potential they have, rather than in an imminent announcement of stellar revenue & profit increases.

Max19, I don't really expect the TU (due by months end) will be anything special in terms of results. More likely is that there will be lots of warm words designed to give investors plenty of optimism for the future. Potential is probably more important than results at the moment. Although I would like to be surprised and the numbers bigger than expected, I don't believe TRMR are in that position.

I have no real idea what has driven the recent improvement in the SP...anyone have any thoughts? Or if it is sustainable.

For all newbies to TRMR we must apologise for Stt1, who is our resident doomster & naysayer when TRMR is concerned. He seems to be a long term vendetta against TRMR (and formerly RTHM)....so he is probably really annoyed that the share price has increased so markedly in the last few days. Take all he says with a pinch of salt and as always DYOR....definitely don't believe what Stt1 writes.

Indeed:
Tosca went from 23.0% to 21.6% of shares.

Number of shares:
21.6% with 24.468 million shares
23% with 24.243 million shares.

So they actually purchased 223,000 shares but the % went down...go figure.

But Tosca have been buying shares...that's a fact.

I suspect the Tosca 'reduction' (in terms of %) may also be a technical reduction because of the News Int. shares given for the Unruly purchase.

PerkyLad, I believe that the Shroder 'reduction' was a technical reduction in terms of %.....apparently they in fact added more shares but because of the shares given to News International the SHroder golding reduced as a % (and a threshold RNS was triggered).

Tricky, I.m not sure what you are talking about. Someone who purchased 20K Blinkx shares would now be the proud owner of 1,696 TRMR shares, which are currently worth circa 180 pence per share. The Unruly (news corp) deal hasn't adversely impacted on the share price (as yet). So any dilution would only be seen in a reduction in SP...or dividend (stop laughing!!!)

JD, I believe 20,000 Blinkx shares would equate to 2,000 Taptica shares....but I might be wrong.

The daily price of gold is 'almost' irrelevant to the SP of Altyn....the long term price of gold is important obviously but much more relevant are production figures and plans they have for increasing gold poured.

Yep, there is always the danger that the Assabayeu family (currently own circa 70%) make a low ball offer to us minority shareholders.....just when the company starts to increase production. All part of the risk-reward profile.

Greg, it's all very good to have a large resource but they still need to get the stuff out of the ground economically & in sufficient quantity. When they start to show that they can do both reliably then the SP will take care of itself.

You have identified that they have potential but now they need to deliver....something in the past they have struggled to achieve reliably. They have the money now and so no more excuses.

GP, there is quite a lot of gold in the ground....but I would have liked to have seen the grade higher, they will have to shift a lot of dirt to get gold production up. Not impossible but just requires more effort.

When they get production up to approaching 100,000 of gold the the SP will be a lot higher than currently (obviously).

SP never really did very much today.....perhaps because the FTSE was under the weather.

A bit of a run recently...but is this sustainable? Perhaps the trading update will provide a bit more impetus on the journey to £5 (sometime this century).

Greg, when will they start producing 8,000 Oz of gold consistently per month? This year, next year....longer?

When they start to hit targets then people will really start to take notice...no matter what anyone says.
