SO the fact that the SP hit 8p (as predicted by he who cannot be named) can be ignored because of CoronaVirus. I suppose he created it in his lab and travelled to Wuhan in China to spread it too!!!

Big question is can the online seminar/webcast give the SP a boost. I suspect people have other things on their mind that hearing 'fascinating' stories from Mr Barder & Ken James.

Funding is probably the elephant in the room. A cost reduction strategy to make what cash they have last as long as possible...I'm not sure they will find it easy to raise more money (& if the do the share dilution may be enormous).

Ideally FUM will announce a partnership for MED with a pharma company....although that's probably as likely as the SP hitting 108p in the next few weeks.

Is anybody looking forward to April 1st?!

The SP is going to be 108p in a matter of weeks (apparently)...so perhaps you just had a premonition of impending riches!!

theItalian, I expect they will still discuss the 'mode of action' but I don't expect Prof Ralph to be involved in that part of the presentation (hopefully I am wrong & he will add his thoughts on how MED works). Having Professor Ralph describe the 'mode of action' would provide academic & scientific rigour IMO. Having Ken James or Mr Barder describe how they think it works isn't sufficient IMO (unless it is backed up with a scientific investigation of course). I do hope Professor Ralph doesn't use vague words like 'fascinating' to describe MED (placebo derived version). Interesting times!

To me that sounds like Professor Ralph isn't going to discuss how the placedbo derived version of MED works. Which would be a little disappointing. I do hope he doesn't start using the word 'fascinating' too much.

I suspect he will repeat the same talk he did on 11th Feb 2019 in the FUM R&D day (video available on FUM website). To me the +30 minute section featuring Prof Ralph wasn't very exciting (try to keep awake!!), but others might find it fascinating....so if you want a heads up watch the video.

I suppose we will have to wait until 1st April for SP to reach 108p. I can wait that long.

theItalian, I expect a decision on the Seminar will be made early in the week. So if it is delayed or canceled they will need to inform people well before hand.

Trump may be deciding whether to add the UK to the no-entry list. Ken James may have to decide whether if he wants to be in America when that happens. Interesting times!

If FUM isn't likely to get a Pharma partner for MED until regulatory approval then it's important to know when FUM expect to get that approval...and whether they have enough resoures (cash) to reach that point. It looks like FDA approval will take longer...but the EU may be quicker.

The current coronaVirus may slow up things I suppose...depends how bad it gets.

Another fundraising would go down like a bucket of cold turnips. There is talk that a global recession due to CV could make fundraising more difficult in general in the months & years ahead. Things could be reaching a crunch point for FUM....let's hope the talks with potential partners are progressing well & somebody takes the bait.

Given the way things are going I'm not even sure if the Seminar will go ahead as currently planned. Having a room 'full' of sweaty sneezing coughing investors isn't my idea of fun. Perhaps some sort of online virtual seminar instead.

This coronaVirus isn't too bad....the hardest hit are the elderly and they should be isolated. The rest of the population can probably carry on their lives as normal.

It does look like the Chinese have managed to get on top of it, and although we cannot do the draconian things they did, we should hopefully have a similar profile for the disease in the West.

The scientists have been telling us for many years that a severe pandemic was only a matter of time....I see this as a practice run for when something more serious comes along.

It will be over & forgotten soon enough. But hopefully we will learn from the mistakes (whether that is our over-reaction, historical lack of investment or poor decisions)

theItalian, I saw the bit in the RNS about contacting FUM's PR company to declare an interest (presumably in attending). It would be a bit strange to have an investors seminar withour any investors I suppose.

I was just wondering if anyone has contacted FUM and whether they have found out where it's being held. Probably at their brokers offices rather than a s****y 5 star hotel.

Hopefully the investors that attend ask some interesting questions...
- Dermasys patents
- how MED300 actually works
- potential partners for MED
- additional testing for MED & funding requirements
- What is happening with TPR (to keep LTU 'happy')

Although I expect some of the answers would be market sensitive & they will plead the 5th.

So private investors cannot go or ask questions? That's a shame.

I have seen their previous webcasts and the financial journalists & analysts who attend ask the most boring & mundane questions.

Bucolic, this is getting boring. I have NEVER said that professor Ralph is an employee of Futura Medical. But he has worked for FUM and is not entirely an independent expert...he has links to the company (which is usually declared in a 'conflict of interest' statement). People should be aware of this when they assess what he says about FUM & their products.

BTW a 'conflict of interest' isn't necessarily a bad thing. It is a statement of fact....indeed it could indicate that the person has inside knowledge or a greater understanding of the situation under discussion. But people should be aware of that fact.

For some reason some people on here want to hide the fact that Prof Ralph has worked for Futura and has indepth knowledge of what they have to offer. To me that is something that should be shouted from the rooftops...not hidden away as if there is something sinister about it.
