Nobody can say for sure whether they will be here in 18 months. There are some quite young people (especially medical professionals) who have succumbed to this virus. But statistically the risks for me are not too bad. But I could always get run over by a bus (probably driven by one of the posters on here).

I'll take 60% is OK to good....I'm the human equivalent to MED3000!!

KDonkey, about TPR, what would they do with it IF they got it back (assuming they have a clause in the contract). They don't have the headroom to work on it in-house & they don't want to have to go looking for another pharma partner (because they are concentrating 95% on MED) and I suspect they don't have any spare cash for TPR. Better to leave things as they are and 'hope' progress is being made whilst they put maximum effort into MED.

BTW I cannot 'go for a run or walk'....so unfortunately you're stuck with me.

During the video Mr Barder sort of suggested that they haven't yet started negotiating in earnest with potential partners...but he seemed very upbeat...even excited about making a deal (perhaps he got Trumps book 'The art of the deal' for Christmas). But we have been here before and 'plenty' of interest sometimes turns into nothing at all. The deal isn't done until they have a signature on the paper....and then we ask "What sort of a deal". I expect big pharma to ask lots of difficult questions before they hand over the cash....and they will want believeable answers.

I presume he meant for the one product (MED3000) with both regulators. SO it seems inevitable that another round of fundraising is likely early next year (or slightly before), unless a pharma partner signs a deal with a significant upfront payment.

I must have missed the bit in the webcast when Prof Ralph described how he thought MED3000 (placebo derived) worked, what time in the video was that please?!

- Are FUM likely to need to raise extra funds at the end of this year or early next year?
- Do FUM have any hard scientific evidence to back up their theory on how MED3000 actually works?
- Are we guaranteed to have regulatory approval before the end of the year?
- Will FUM get pharma distibution deals for MED3000 prior to regulatory approval?

Not sure what isn't fact or realistic questions that need to be answered...sometimes the truth hurts.

Not sure what the webcast achieved today...apart from wasting my time. But the predicted increase in SP to 108p has been delayed due to CoronaVirus....or more likely April Fool's.

When am I gonna get my 20p exit price?..or was that 50p....or 108p.

Professor Ralph owes me 18 minutes of my life!!

What a massive waste of time for him, for us & everybody who went through the pain of listening to him talk about irrelevant (mostly!!) ED stuff for 18 minutes. So he didn't even attempt to discuss MED3000....which was the whole point of the webcast.

Very poor investor seminar/webcast. Ken was quite interesting if you managed to stay awake through all the statistical juggling.

Conclusion: They don't know how MED3000 works...they have some ideas but nothing concrete.

AMutT, I missed the boat at 13p.....just hoping for a bit of a bounce after todays amazing webcast to bale. As you rightly say...there are some amazing opportunities at the moment.

theItalian, as long as everyone is aware of the risks then I'm fine with that. I'm just trying to counterbalance the 'there's plenty of cash' sentiment with a bit of realism (or call it pessimism if you will).

Lots of uncertainty listed in the 'going concern' section. A potential funding issue at the end of this year, or start of 2021. But I suppose we already knew that.

All through the report it said that Covid-19 wouldn't impact Futura because they are a 'virtual' company....but they still have a building to rent & staff to pay. Ideally they would have had revenue from CSD500 coming in but that evaporated. Now FUM have to enter negotiations with pharma companies with "trust us, this is how we think it works" and with a precarious financial position. Not a good bargaining position IMO.

If Covid-19 leads to a recession (seems likely) that extends into next year then obtaining finance becomes even harder. So FUM may be impacted by this pandemic after all.

I wonder if big pharma 'believe' what FUM are telling them. Hopefully in the webcast today Professor Ralph can add his academic weight behind how MED3000 (placebo derived version) actually works. Having a well paid board of directors tell us how they think it works isn't sufficient IMO....it certainly won't be sufficient to any potential pharma partner.

I expect in the next few months there will be an opportunity to get in at a lower price....but what the heck do I know (absolutely nothing, just like everybody else here). FOMO is a bad feeling but so is that feeling of "I wish I had waited".

Will the SP go much higher? Not sure it will myself....depends on the price of oil, where demand is going to be weak & resolution of Russia/Saudi disagreement is uncertain.
Will the SP go lower? Seems more likely than it increasing.

Redial, I don't mind you wanting the best for Shell & your investmnent. But when you make slightly absurd & sensationalist predictions then I have to question your thinking. It's rather pointless too because the share price will do what it wants.

On average, as of April 2019, state and local taxes and fees add 34.24 cents to gasoline and 35.89 cents to diesel, for a total US volume-weighted average fuel tax of 52.64 cents per gallon for gas and 60.29 cents per gallon for diesel.

In the UK "57.95p of every litre of petrol and diesel going to the tax man."....or approximately $2.60 per US gallon.

So I would expect oil price changes would have far more impact at the pump in the USA compared to the UK.

Redial, in the UK most of the price of a litre of fuel is government taxes. I don't know if that's the same in the USA....do you?

I'm not sure you can compare how AMericans use galsoline and view the price at the pump to the UK. Although I do know that the UK government seems very wary of increasing taxes on petrol by using the fuel price escalator (to combat climate change)....I suspect the Americans are even more attune to the price at the pump & any president facing an election in November would be very adverse to artificically increasing the price of oil (at the moment). But of course Trump is unpredictable.

Nope, he is going to put pressure on Saudi & Russia to sort out their differences. Probably say cheap oil is good for the economy at the same time.

Don't shale producers just invoke chapter 11 and go into hybernation. Then when the price per barrel becomes profitable they restart production. The oil in the ground doesn't go anywhere.
