I was thinking the same about all those grounded airplanes....what's to stop them topping them all up to the brim? Assuming the airlines have the money...which means 'No'!!

I suppose the more interesting question is whether the prospect of a dividend on Thursday is supporting the current share price and will it drop sharply after it goes ex-div?

A bit of a silly thing to say...nothing is guaranteed.
But there seems a good chance that the dividend will be paid.

Even though it's ex-dividend the dividend payment isn't guaranteed....normally it would be, but these aint 'normal' times. BARC recently withdrew the dividend even though they were ex-Div.

I'm not sure whether LGEN is under the same pressure from the financial regulator as the banks to retain funds. Others may wish to comment.

Probably wise to take a bit of profit now. Hard to see that the 'big gains' until they actually start shifting the dirt and heading towards 100,000 oz....next year at the earliest I imagine.

Perhaps some people on here need to concentrate on their own investments rather than what other people may or may not have bought shares at. There are bound to be recent investors in RDSB who have a lower average. Perhaps the people complaining should be thinking about averaging down - or rebalancing their portfolio - IF they truly believe that RDSB is a good investment. Worrying about the 'truthfulness' of other posters is a mugs game (IMO). Better spend their effort on something positive...go sit in the sunshine or clap for the NHS.

So what could 'drive' the SP to 108p (and beyond)?

- A takeover offer (obviously)....seems unlikely IMO.
- A very good distribution deal, with a significant upfront payment...I'm not sure big upfront payments are likely, distribution deals are quite possible.

What could prevent the SP reaching 108p (in the near future)?

- My comments on here (I am very influential...think Warren Buffet on steroids)?
- REgulatory approval drags on & on & on....which happened for CSD500 (but I suppose FUM may have learned the lesson)
- Worries about another round of fundraising some time in H1 2021 & big share dilution (again)....this is where a big upfront payment from the deal(s) WOULD BE HELPFUL.

I wonder what the insurance premiums will be for older passengers - especially with underlying conditions - IF they restart cruising before a vaccine is available. After a vaccine is ready I presume insurers may see the risks reduce.

All the bookings in the world become irrelevant if they cannot surivive until next year. That is why 'the management' need to be doing everything imagineable to make sure they do survive. The Saudi backing should be priceless in this respect.

Wow, that is quite a long list....and may require big permanent changes to the cruise industry. Once we are through this pandemic the industry will be expected to change to handle future pandemics.
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger...perhaps CCL & others will emerge even stronger & better prepared for the future. Lets hope the management aren't just a bunch of overpaid headless chickens.

LTV, I expect the $1billion monthly cash burn will be reduced by management as much as possible....cutting costs, mothballing, etc etc.

SO presumably the funds raised should last quite some time IF they cut things to the bone. THey have to plan that cruising may not restart until a vaccine becomes available in a year or so....although there is some talk of a vaccine sooner.

Is it the fact that professor Ralph does work for Futura Medical?....No
Is it the fact that Dermasys may not be patented (more likely patent pending)?...No
Is it the fact that nobody really knows how MED3000(placebo derived) actually works?....No

Perhaps there is something in the room that is very large & elephant shaped.....but nobody seems to care or even notice. Ce la guerre.

There is nothing worse than negativity, apart from 100% unquestioning positivity....which seems to be what the day trading ladies want by shouting down anyone with a question or an alternative view!!

Better to ask difficult questions and let people make their own mind up....then at the end of the day people will know more about what they are invested in and cannot say "If only I knew!!".
