I have this one as: entry point and exit point on redistributions.
Although seeing the share price go down is not nice it is one of those shares that should hopefully pay out a lot more than the current price.
Agree BOD are questionable but we have an activist investor and this is their biggest holding I understand. We also have a non executive director keeping an eye on things.
The BOD are looking to monetize but it may not happen as quickly as some people expect. These sort of breakup opportunities do not come along very often.
Good imo to have some of these in a diversified portfolio.
I do not have too many so will top up if they go into the lower 20s.
If you are good at trading and can make a few quid doing so then good on you. I'm not one of those people and am more likely to buy higher up if I sell! As long as the underlying businesses are doing okay we should be fine and indications given are that they are.
It is one to forget until there is a return. All imo and not investment advice there are people here with more experience in the markets than me.

Expansion of portfolio. American funds can see Imm massively undervalued and that's why they have invested and at a premium to share price which doesn't normally happen and because of "newsflow" to come.

Avion deal newsflow is and will come he is comfortable with progress on that and said he has smile on his face when he says that otherwise they would have to update market on it.

All looking positive imo.

I would like to think that also - they would have needed convincing to part with their money and as they are " specialist" healthcare funds would have had their own analysts pondering over the research data etc.
One thing's for sure - Imm are not having difficulty getting funding; phase 3 is fully funded by its partner and now this new funding.

No guarantees any of its drug candidates will make it either.

Imm have released the news with Avion when the deal was done. The links you have provided for Mammoth are the same kinds of press releases when companies do these kind of deals. One of the points mentioned in the posts is that Avion have not yet acknowledged the deal on their website; this is how most of these releases are done. The links you have provided suffer from the same issues in that it is only on Horizons website and not on Mammoths and for the other deal it is on Mammoths website and not GSKs. So this appears to be the norm it is not a requirement for both companies to put the news on each others websites.

Avion have in fact publicly acknowledged the deal when the initial announcement was made so there is no need for them to put it on their own website as well:

A Google search shows that "chronic or recurring pericarditis is usually the result of autoimmune disorders such as lupus, scleroderma and rheumatoid arthritis. These are disorders in which the body's immune system makes antibodies that mistakenly attack the body's tissues or cells".

Perhaps they have more knowledge of this area than they are being given credit for? The phase 3 trial design will be in partnership with the Imm, Avion and the FDA and they will have the leading practitioners on board so it is not all being led by Avion but they are funding it all.

Risk reward agreed. There are people chasing biotechs that have drugs in phase1-3 and on multiples much higher and we are languishing with a product in the market and another one to be approved and another market in the USA!
