Re ONS are we saying that testing will go down in UK because of this? Deaths going down would seem to suggest that there will be added impetus to keep the figures down through wider testing.

The NHS is already preparing for a second wave in winter whether it materialises or not.

The ONS is only UK centred:

I'm not saying that because you have a different view to mine you are entitled to your view. It's that I've noticed the same pessimistic attitude on the other shares you hold?

Does TW do his 99p articles on analysis of why things went wrong? I don't think he does - not surprised. It's just a one way process with him, focus on the things you guess right with no analysis of failure's.

Yes agreed although he has the right to post his arguments with respect, from an investment point of view, they are weak arguments. I've not seen anything to worry me other than trying to create a fear factor for the uninitiated.

I think we can fit into the definition of an economic moat according to investpedia and we are able to tick most of the categories. There is one for good leadership as well.

The world is littered with successful businesses that are making millions and billions in income that seemingly do not have a moat. There are even pharmaceutical companies selling generic drugs and they are increasing profits every year.

An economic moat is only relevant imo for an established business and not for a fast growing company like ours that is gaining market share from the big companies. The company's products are innovative (I think there was a post on here a while back nominating the company for innovative product of the year award?).

We all know that and it is widely accepted without a doubt that Coca Cola has an economic moat . So naturally you would think it has been a fantastic investment?

Yes and no. Coca Cola share price was $43 in July 1998 and today it is $45.15. So other than collecting dividends someone between those time periods (and it is a very long time period) would have seen virtually no share price growth. I understand that some commentators criticise CC's management and I have heard that even Buffet accepts it is not going to give you the growth rates that it did in the early days of his ownership. Pepsi has been a much better investment and the share price is still growing reflecting the growth in the business. One interesting point is that when Buffet bought his shares for $2-3 (I think it was in these low prices) others could not see why he was doing it and did not believe there was much more growth to come!

So the lesson here is also about profitability and growth and not just a moat. Imo our company is at the beginning of its growth journey and I look forward to the next instalment.

Looks like the increased WFH is here to stay and there might even be legislation coming to give workers rights to do so.

Not that I've read much about it but they say that if you had been out of the stock market for only a handful of days when stocks shot up and invested the rest of the time it would dramatically reduce your returns ? Can't be bothered to look it up for the details of this analysis but yes most of the time there isn't much happening with the tracker funds until you get a few 6% 4% etc days and you get the bigger jumps in individual holdings whatever they maybe. Here they have been 50% plus .... and it's those few days in the year that change the value of portfolios...now you wouldn't want to be out at the weekend as they say would you?

Either way he confirmed it's RT PCR so more potential business.

It's listed on the Australian stock exchange. It's got big sites near GGP land in Paterson so I took a punt only a small one (would have taken a bigger one if I knew it was going to rise so quickly!) because the share price hadn't moved compared to GGP. They are at very early stages an explorer but also have a nearly completed mine as well I understand. Hear that the old management were poor and investors lost confidence.

I was surprised to find that Alastair Clayton is a Director there here's also a Director at Prim.

I'm not good at entry points so can't tell you if it's a good point to enter or not it has nearly doubled in the last few days.. If the drilling shows there's a lot of gold there anything like GGP then it should increase a lot - that's the pun the results hence my small stake.

If folks believe in this share then they should be stronger than the odd shorter giving wild share price predictions.

Agreed no need for rudeness. I don't agree with shorting myself as I personally don't believe it's ethical. But people can choose to do so and it's their view and choice.

Everyone is entitled to their view and to post if they stay within the rules unless they become a nuisance and become disruptive and there have been some of those posters who have therefore been reported.

When a few investors are shorting they don't have any real effect on the share price when it's a company this size. I think where they have the effect is in creating a fear factor and pushing people to sell and thereby achieving their aim. So if they come out with weak arguments then they should be challenged on those arguments (in a civil manner). Imo.
