the GDR test is relatively slow.It is a niche market for it too. Just hype over there, imo. Ncyt will be launching their own 10 minute PCR test shortly appparently. That is the one to back, as they have a worldwide distribution network to go with it.

andy, the last we heard was they were nearly done bar the changeover to Ygen's equipment. I thought one of the big boys were going 'live' last October. Maybe there has been a little slippage, but even so can't be far away.

you can't really compare MHC to Ygen. I still think many see MHC as a bit of a one trick pony until the other products come onboard. You just need to look at Ygen's website to see the difference with all the products and clients/customers they handle.

I can't recall they said anything about the last variant either? Doesn't seem important to them it seems.

andy, absolutely right. As we know Ygen is a one stop shop and can do the lot, including having their own PCR test. That is very helpful for govt/others procurement needs. It gives them an advantage I believe, hence the £34m contract, and more to come hopefully. Let's hope core is doing it's stuff too.
