bar the brief covid blip in March 2020 we are at a 3 year low. Ygen's best year ever rev wise and we are stuck at these pathetic levels.
Is it no confidence in LR or something else? Is he the right man for the job, because so far all he has shown is he is good at employing people, and probably too many at that!
A company with 280 bods should be turning over much more that what Ygen are doing imo. In these days of massive price increases everywhere you turn, maybe Ygen should follow suit, because they sure don't charge enough atm!!

also like to say to LR to stop going on about how many employees there are now. It means exactly nothing if you can't turn a profit. It seems to excite him that they now have some 280 employees.
Now perhaps excite your investors with some decent profits. If you can't be profitable now, then you never will. Your business model isn't working upto now.
Maybe you need to trim a few personnel as you obviously have far too many on the gravy train.

yes, Andy, and some numbers with it. Doubt it will happen though. LR did say he will update on covid progress beginning Jan, then quickly changed to end of Jan, so maybe split the diff and do the middle of Jan Mr Rees , preferably with some numbers , if it's not too much trouble!

Frankie, I am not too bothered about covid as it's only a temp thing, although great income. Non covid is what it's mainly about now for me.

There do still seem to be too many selling at these prices though! Some decent amounts going through and I am not sure they are all small PI's either?

yes, it is something one of their partners could look at. We know LR can't be arsed to come out of his comfort zone when things like this and going direct to end users are mentioned. I was also a bit miffed when I asked if they will 'update' the Clarigene test like others have done,,,er nope again. As LR says, what more could they do with such good results so far this year...Erm plenty Mr Rees!

Davand, I agree. I especially like the Ranger technology and it's making some waves we hear. I also think we will get more govt contracts and not just covid either.

recently whenever mm drop the price below 12p they get some buying action that brings it back . Looks like they are doing it again. Let's see if it tempts many like it did the other day.

3skins, I would rather they switched to the post covid mentality tbh. Pre covid was a struggle I think. They will come out of this much stronger I feel with many more customers/partners, hopefully!
It's hard to know who to believe as I have read many so called 'experts' saying totally the opposite things. Some even say testing is here for maybe 5 years or more, others say 6 months.
LR mentions two years. Nobody really knows, but if they take their foot off the gas too soon then there could well be a sting in the tail.
As has been mentioned before, I am hoping they can get into other non covid govt testing/lab work like oncology, as we know the NHS/others are light years behind with that alone.

Maybe not as good as some think !! I see those crooked MP's getting some stick about kicking the UK diagnostics industry into touch whilst buying billions of ££ of Chinese tat!

Dan, don't discount the Ranger tech. That is one big reason for someone to buy Ygen.. It's bloody good gear, saves time labour and money..Labcorp certainly like it . A certain winner imo!
