it needs confirmation of one or two of those 'big' US companies to help this along and to get away from the covid stuff a little. If they are as good as LR reckons then maybe investors will see there is life after covid.

WHO say this is going well into 2022 and beyond. Pcr is going nowhere and in fact testing is on the up. Nice £34m govt contract being worked through. Maybe more where that came from too? If they can keep going at 100k tests or more per month then numbers will be very good indeed. The change to lft for travel has been a disaster so far. The so called 'cheap tests' are not so cheap at upto £100 a time,lol.
More lockdowns on the way being reported, hmmm!, I think there is plenty more to go with pcr testing and Ygen are doing well with govt contracts and getting trusted to perform whilst, (unlike Immensa/Dante labs in Wolverhampton) getting their feet well under the table there.
They need to ride this covid wave for as long as possible

yes, I am a bit peeved with his U turn on getting the UKAS lab sorted, especially after he said he wouldn't do it a year earlier. Could have cost the company tens of millions by that indecision. I asked the question about a newer version of Clarigene, a bit like the NCYT winterplex test. Nope, doing nothing with that and just as govt's say they will use this type of test this winter. Another ******* dropped imo.

there many other scientists saying the very same thing though. Not all have been riding on the back of the pandemic testing fiasco. Not sure what you line about the NHS is about? Let's see in a few weeks/months.

So, do these 'free' PCR tests include all overseas visitors too I wonder? Bad enough the locals getting free NHS/PCR tests, but everyone else at our expense, really!!

Ron, my point being that lft are so inaccurate and throw out so many false negatives their won't be many positives to send for PCR. lol. I know LR mentions doubling capacity but I doubt they will need it now, unless the govt non travel testing is ramping up. LR has already got one thing wrong about lft when he said it has to be done by a professional person, will take time etc. Well, now we know that's not the case. Do the test at home and send a photo. Not much room to cheat there eh..pmsl!

MHC are/were one of their biggest customers and their Boots numbers are only about a third of what they were, and that will reduce to next to nothing in a couple of weeks as any positive LFT will be sent for a 'FREE' NHS PCR test. For me, hopefully they can win more govt contracts away from covid and get these big US customers onboard smartish.

relying on poor lft could well end in disaster with the incorrect results they kick out. Too many false negatives for my liking. Millions upon millions of false negatives roaming around the country, spreading covid all over the place.

although the Daily Mail say pcr tests will be free, so maybe a govt turnaround again, or the rag has it wrong.
