If this sort of project is required to move MATAD oil it's not going to happen quickly and will need serious investment. I'll put this one on the back burner for a few years!

I think we saw something similar with AMC in Russia. Huge potential with vast nickel ore deposits. A 10 bagger to 40p (how long ago?) & now floundering at 1.6p due to logistical and/or funding and alternatives more readily available. Granted oil should be easier to extract and move than nickel ore but that stage needs to come quickly.

I don't think it's a case of the ground being too hard - it's only the top few feet that freeze. More likely the working conditions above ground and the fluidity (or not) of the oil at low temps.
