IR needs to spread the positives. A couple of IIs May decide to dip a toe, average down. Before you know it, we’d be up a few p and catch the eye of bargain hunters, press.

He assumed that one of the bids would be successful or at Least move the price. I’m sure he didn’t think that the BOD would have the arrogance to dismiss them without putting them to shareholders.
He’s now long and wrong. Like the rest of us.

Or IR get there act together and start spreading the positives. At the moment they’re getting paid to answer the odd email. With the “nothing to say” line.

Those people that are waiting for a premium listing announcement will also be sorely disappointed.
More accountability, giving up the golden share. MM won’t like that. I predict he’ll delay, defer, wiggle out of his promise. I think if he was half decent, he’d raise the money, take it private, at a fair/generous price to PIs.

He should have, at least, let shareholders decide.
It’s a PLC. These things should go to a vote. That’s the point. And if he would have offered his defence as to why it should be rejected, the share price would probably be higher than the bid anyway.
Acting as if he is ceo of a private company is why no one is buying at these depressed levels.

The small free float exaggerates the sp movement. It works in our favour if there are more buyers than sellers. And vice versa. There are clearly more sellers than buyers at the moment. Not sure why everyone seems to think that a small free float is such great news.

Poor performance today, whichever way you look at it.

Yes. The debt markets have certainly dried up. Hopefully temporarily. That’s the reason that Walgreens couldn’t get Boots away.
Funnily enough the THG bid, that was rejected by the BOD, with complete disregard to shareholders, was probably the last bid before the door was shut.

I think IG posts have to be ignored.
I don’t think any respectable ceo of a plc will hint at things afoot on his IG story.

A clever PE will have the same view. And try to buy the whole co on the cheap. And then take advantage of the upside when things improve.

Massive value has been eroded here by the mms and algos keeping this so low for so long.
And smashing the price when they can.
Unfortunately, they’ve spoilt any chance of us getting full value.
If a bid now does re-emerge, they’d get the co at sub £2. IIs and PIs will take the money. It’s a shame.
