Touchstone notes that the terms of the Irrevocable Undertakings oblige those Trinity Shareholders and Trinity Directors who gave Irrevocable Undertakings to vote against the Lease Operators Scheme. Well with Albermale losses last Qtr that seems somewhat unlikely :-) Kessler understands the value comes when the PFS and CEOLs are in place, unlikely he would take an short term benefit and lose the long term gain in my view...

Well Albermale is really getting hit with their high cost of production, luckily Cleantech Lithium has a cost basis under half of Albermale, sounds like they will be going to the government asking for even more subsidy once our production comes online :-)

I think the TRIN offer was there, the board moved on that's the end of the story, if TRIN is hoping for a bidding war I think they have got this wrong, the BOD clearly are happy to just get the money and are clearly not that worried about long term shareholder value, which is a little sad but hey ho they have made their choice for everyone else...

On the contrary TXP can afford TRIN but at the price it was worth, buying a house that needs a lot of work and money spent on it means you should pay less for it, simple economics, happy for you and the TRIN directors to take your short term benefit offer but some shareholders will be mindful of the mid and long term which has been woefully served my the existing management teams and their new bedfellow, good luck with that...

The tax losses would be insignificant to a much bigger player, they make sense for Touchstone and the benefits of proper delivery were the positiive to Trinity shareholders having a opportunity to get back up to 165p, while the new offer is from a long term player in the market I would question whether their track record has really delivered the kind of growth that Touchstone are planning over the next year or 2 but it is clear the Trinity board are happiest to flop whichever way lines their pockets the quickest and the shareholders future opportunities can just twist in the wind :-)

Seems like 2 small companies getting together, I am sure the purchaser is at least more stable than Trinity but it seems like Touchstone would have be a better fit for Trinity's shortcomings, ah well, the reality for me is that this will at least mean that Paul can be focused on delivery of Touchstones objectives for FY24 and FY25, no more merger disruption, for me this is short term good news...

Steve Kessler is very familiar with what is need to take a project like this from PFS thru to full manufacturing and delivery, sure there are barriers and issues but he will be familiar with these and will deliver what he has planned for a number of years. Not sure who you are trying to 'take the blinkers off' if you don't believe this company can deliver you know what to do dude :-)

Oh the cynicism :-) No one knows right now, sure anything could happen but no reason to think it will, time will tell, ASX first ofc…

Good plan take your money out of the well patient and invest in the one on life support, big play :-)

The board need to make the call, they need to think about what is best for the company, the shareholders and the future, while the new offer maybe more cash maybe the other elements on further review will not provide the long term benefits in all areas like the Touchstone deal, we will all know based on what happens 23rd August, GLTA

All those who got in on the offer must feel super special today :-)

Think Touchstone could afford it at the price they quoted, clearly Trinity was coming to a hard place and the Touchstone deal offered them a funded way forward, I think Touchstone will maintain their offer, I don’t think they should go any higher based on this new fly by night offer :-)

I just meant in the current run, sometimes it can get ahead of itself without solid news and start kicking into peoples stops but time will tell if this is a player or a number and I do think with ASX Listing coming in the next few weeks there maybe some bargain hunting too (may 60p happen faster than we all think :-)

Sure some of this will be the impending ASX Listing effect too, potentially new buyers keen to get in ahead of news, hopefully not over egging the pudding :-)

Certainly a lot of EV car companies will undertake offtake agreements with suppliers at fixed costs, so the daily floating Lithium price will not impact their to the customer price. As an electric car maker you need assured pricing as well as assured volumes, buying Lithium on the spot market would potentially mean you would have to hedge the prices to ensure safe and stable supply, long great for long lead time businesses like car production...

Well unless the reason you bought in the first place is no longer valid, I would hold (but that's just me :-)
