Was the total holding showing on Vanguards website at 5.5m as I see we had Vanguard showing total holdings on Bloomberg as 19,983,049 on 20 May 2024 which was down by 3,493,779 shares from previous reporting.

It looks like they are quite active and possibly selling/ moving between funds.

You are correct in that there was a lot of selling from the rise to 66p.

I don't know anything about that, I did use the lower wind speed number just to get a base expectation of wind turbine economics. I did get to have a chat with a guy who manages wind turbines, he was super excited about it all but did concede that they just about breakeven after a good number of years and the blades do occasionally break.

Operation maintenance and warranty cost £251,000 per year

I think its more sentiment based. Net debt in my view adds to the volatility and gears the equity for rises or falls.

Bloomberg showed Vanguard increased by 3.1928m shares on 10th Sept 2024 holding a total of 20,295,414 shares or 3.32%

BP had H1 2024 net debt $22,614 to EBITDA $19,945

They must have thought that was the bottom.

Houthis and Hezbollah have got nothing to do with the Strait of Hormuz. It is in Iranian waters so they can do what they want there. Besides if they get hostile and declare it closed no one will provide shipping insurance for a passage through the straits making it effectively closed for business. I'm not saying it will remain like that but the Iranians have form with Oil embargos.

The US Navy would not be able to keep the Strait of Hormuz open, its very narrow and very close to Iran. They would be sitting ducks !

20.9 million barrels of oil per day travelled through the Strait of Hormuz last year. To be honest I am surprised they are not closed already !

This is one of those 'conviction' stocks where you have to believe in the story. With no revenue FCF, or divi why would anyone invest otherwise ?

If you don't want to sell it means you still believe too, somewhere deep down. It might do you good to switch off, email Sam Investor Relations or anyone else at Rockhopper if you want to rant and get things off your chest. maybe set a sell order at a price you are happy with and come back in 2025 see where we are ?
