I don't think tariffs are a red herring and its worrying how close Elon and Trump now are.

I really have no idea what Trump will do and I'm not sure he knows yet either. I expect volatility, and if I were Iran's leaders I would be very worried indeed.

I doubt Trump could get Brent below $60 and I think it could easily spike into the high $90s

I think they said in the conference call in regards to a question on net debt increase, they were going to bring in a partner and had 'lots of interest' They also said they planned to 'flip it'

Are we thinking ball park $5-$10m per site ?

If Trump were to get in he will want low oil prices, his policy before of drill baby drill I think was possibly underwritten by government via someone like JP Morgan. The big difference this time is much higher interest rates.

Talking of conspiracy theories I think Elon Musk has always had Gov backing, possibly to keep oil prices down.
