Just that it is cheaper to borrow stock to short than last week. Could mean less demand to short or more stock available to short.

Could be meaningless but if the cost to borrow went up very high might show the company is in big trouble. 0.49% per year is very very cheap.

Cost to borrow stock here has reduced from 0.69% on 6 Nov to 0.49% 14 Nov which is interesting.

Who is this clown of an analyst, no catalyst for up or down movement, except at time of him writing the stock was about 55-57p so 85p is quite some upside, especially if over a short time frame.

Would need EBITDA to drop by more than 50% for covenants to be tested. Even then we would likely be allowed at least a few quarters of covenants waived.

I am only seeing one trade of 300k the other 6 are 3 paired trades as in a buyer matched with a seller hence the number of shares and the time stamp being the same. 16.48.03pm 125,994 shares 16.48.03pm 125,994 shares then at 16.48.04pm 161,577 shares 16.48.04pm 161,577 shares. Same with the 12,429 shares both at 16.48.03pm the prices are a tiny spread for the broker/ MM 55.03p and 55.058p which they all are.

Very unlikely in my view that Franklin, and other Institutions won't be selling the rest.

As Mary says risk profile has changed on Thursday so it might be a case of they are obliged to sell out through internal risk management controls.

You need to add £18billion for BP net debt, also a take over at 410 per share probably wouldn't cut it, would need to be 450+

Exxon has been paying down net debt, a take-over of BP would more than double Exxon's net debt.

I'm not saying they wouldn't do that just its more expensive than you lay out.

You are spot on, I know at least some of the tech companies have in house teams but it doesn't mean they don't need and use the ad agencies. Even the companies that have gone complete in house agency model still use the big external ad agencies. I think its a mix of adding expertise/ experience ( like using external management consultants ) and also the sheer size of media buying is too much to manage completely in house.

Might be best to have a time horizon of a bit more than the next 2 trading days...
