Horse Hill is in an area of outstanding natural beauty in a country that has signed up to the Paris Agreement and is committed to Net Zero. Proposing fracing here is clearly not in any way comparable to Sealion. Moreover I quote from a drilling contractor

Why are you so readily conflating Fracing around Gatwick Airport to an FPSO being deployed in the South Atlantic Ocean. Do you really see a parallel here ? What was the supposed flow rate at Horse Hill a few hundred barrels per day wasn't it, it was never even economic which is why BP did nothing more than look at it in the 1970s.

Are OPEC ( Saudi ) cutting production to stabilize the market or to stabilize their oil wells ?

I have heard from the horses mouth so to speak that Saudi don't have the spare capacity they claim or rather they could turn the taps on to 12-13mbpd but it would damage the wells severely so why on earth would they ever do that to combat high oil prices from which they benefit greatly.

I was under the impression that Bloomberg is self reported voluntarily.

We also have Vanguard Group showing 22,695,660 dated 29 July 24 increased by 7,148,636 shares.

They really do seem quite active.
