My guess is a strike will impact relations both current & new. Can you imagine BT bidding with say Vodaphone or another operator trying to mitigate industrial action? It’s un-thinkable, never mind their failure to services existing contracts. Their clients will have a field day, the pressure exerted on Bt by these sources would surely be too much, should the unions get their members out..... which I agree may not be certain, but have to factor in a fairly hostile atmosphere post t&c changes we keep hearing about

I do hope this weekend won’t be arguing over SP guess work as if it’s absolute fact again.

Fleccy - BT is partly an outsourcing company, they have clients who will not put up with a strike.

BT has hundreds of companies who resell BT’s network, they will all look for compensation / complain if their services are affected or even look like they might.

Pound share - it’s a different business model now. If BT staff strike, the pressure on BT will come from all the companies their striking staff are supposed to serving

There is no way the power won’t be in the hands of the strikers, I can’t see management or the business model being able to withstand it IMO

Infection rates are related to behaviour. For months now infection rates have been highest in low populated areas & of course parts of Asia.

Where population is high, but behaviour is positive infection rates are controlled, where population is high, behaviour is bad, infection rates are worse.
