This just keeps getting worse by the day. Been a long time since the showed an increase. Difficult to see where this will end up. Award of framework contract to JV partner (Interserve) today worth 1bn with Wood apparently supporting the design piece and still the shares tank!!

Simply tanking again today. Really hard to see this recovering as its taking a bashing

No idea where this is heading at the moment. Dividend cover as you say is not great but has improved slightly. I was surprised at the disposal of the Nuclear business but it will get them to their declared leverage position but not until early next year. The integration of the Amec FW business was always going to be difficult, time consuming and expensive. I still think fundamentally a good business but I may be in the minority !!

Still not stopping a significant share price drop in the last two days

Shorts have increased over the last couple of days.

Interim results will be 20th August will confirm dividend (interim) date and amount. Payment date is likely to mid/late September

Big drop today on the back of a real slump in the oil price. Also very high volume of selling activity. Shorting has decreased quite a bit over the last week. Difficult to see this going anywhere until the company comes out with mid year numbers in August or provides some good news on contract wins or asset disposal.

I cant see this makinhg any significant move until after the trading update in two weeks time. Couple of nice contract wins this week and its still getting hammered.

Lot of unravelling to go on given the significant shorting.

I agree the oil price drop is not the only thing contributing to the drop we have seen in the share price. This all started to go south following the market update when they stated paying down debt would take longer than anticipated. Market did not like that and may have read in concerns over ability to sustain dividend in the short/medium term. I do think this is a good buy at this price (I agree with Motley Fool sentiments) but it may take a few more market updates etc. from the company to change sentiment.
