As of right this moment the sp is saying TSSZ was correct in his call. I was just trying to understand his reasoning behind the call

What made you think this is the bottom at 253.6? Its now 251.90!!

I sold some of these at 310p but unlike a lot on this board i am not buying back in at the moment. I said a few weeks back 255p was coming and although my timing was wrong its got there and bust through that so may go down more.
I still have a large holding and dont intend to sell any more at the moment but ... Can someone help me understand statements such as "oversold" as im not seeing that. Until they issuer an upbeat trading update (June) i still see this one bouncing around where its at the moment. Large down days with small recoveries are the norm at the moment.
Dont get me wrong I think there is great potential in teh company but that seldom matters.
Only my view which is obviously contrary to many on this board and id love to be wrong in this case!!!!

This one always seems to fall off the cliff on the opeing of the US markets. I still think its heading south and 250 is in the not so distant future. I'd like to be wrong but .....

Another down day when the rest of the market is positive, oil is up and ecomic news is good. This one is just not cutting it. May need to reconsider and start to reduce my holding so I can take advantage of other sectors/companies which are set to move with the increasing market.

Interesting in that over the last few days they have posted two new contract wins (Owner engineer for largest windfarm in Europe and extension to TAQA north sea contract) on their website but no value and no RNS release.
This seems strage to me.

Probably just about the right entry point. Stuttering around today and finding it difficult to get a direction.

This one is the only share on my watch list which is going down today (and its a big list)

I do indeed hold. Having worked for them for over 30 years I was in when the company floated and in a position to take shares at next to nothing through various share options granted when the company was growing rapidly internationally. The acquistion of AFW almost chocked the company but was a necessary evil in my opinion in order to speed up the transition into infrastructure. Unfortunately with global events it has taken longer than the company envisaged to pay down debt and sort out the structure going forward (wheat and chaff piece)
Holding on by heart rather than head but I dont need to get out. My target for the next 3/4 months would pretty much align with MaryBr190's (around the 350p mark). This will lead up to the half year results which, if they start to show results through to the bottom line from the diversification, could mark a longer term uptick.
All of this of course is just my ramblings so ........

This is not even pegged to oil now. Oil price up considerably today and this loses over 1%. Its dead in teh water at the moment and dividend comeback is a long way off in my opinion and even then will be nothing like it was before it was suspended.

I really cant see this going to 300p in the near future. Its stuck on a downward trend and any upward movement is going to be really restricted until/when they delivery on the mid year result

This one just cant hold the gains. I can see this around 250 this week

Oil killed this today and low volume.

Interesting they put out news of an EPC contract on their web page today but nothing public. Again a contract in non oil and gas so shifting portfolio as anticipated. Linkage of share movement to oil price seems a little old now for this company.

The plant will use HydroPRS™ (Hydrothermal Plastic Recycling Solution) to recycle end-of-life plastic waste into hydrocarbon feedstocks, for use in the manufacture of new plastic products and other materials; diverting plastic away from the natural environment, decoupling plastic manufacture from fossil resource, and reducing CO2 emissions.Wood will lead on the delivery of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solutions for the new facility, with works starting imminently."

There has been a lot of news around collaborations, partnerships etc. around Wood over the past 6 months. None of this of course adds anything until revenue is generated and unfortunately many of these types of things do not lead to much other than a piece of news. The share price is going to languish until such time as they deliver on the bottom line.

Good volume today considering the overall market with, according to this site, considerably more buying than selling. Would have been better if this wasnt a Friday as theslight momentum could be lost by Monday!!
Not the downtick in afternoon trading I've come to expect either.

Always hate when this one comes out the gate on an uptick. It inevitable ends in tears.

Quite a large volume today and buys outweighing sells so don’t really understand the drop. Having said that I’m no expert in these things especially around the buy/sell volumes and post close trades. Need educating in these niceties

I agree in that I think around 350 is a realistic taget as we progress through the year but its going to bounce around the 300 mark until such time as the recent headlines get forgotten regarding the fine and hopefully the mid year results support what they said yesterday. That is of course with all other things being equal in the wider economy and market!

I agree. On balance not great. I do think the US will push this down again this afternoon

Settlement reached with Scotish authorities. That must have been ready to be released followingh the call. Not sure where the price is going to go today. gut tells me it will go down further as the US wakes up and the analysts digest the numbers and the presentation ......
