Obviously this can be more than doubled if prices stay high.
But presumably this is conditional in getting cracked on with Sinosteel.

The gold price varied from $300 to $1800 over 12 years, the point being acquisition costs were fairly stable.
Yes gold is different but this is a good study.
I do not like the NAP comparison because they were fully operational when bought.
As a side, learning of an update on the Sinosteel EPC contract would be good.

It is clearly good news that our metals are increasingly daily.

But please see Kitco study on mine valuations. They looked at 253 takeovers from 1990 to 2013. The value of gold increased hugely towards 2010 but this did not materially influence the transaction value. It stayed stable. For the rampers there were outliers where the mine value went exponential .
But overall there was very little correlation with the price of gold.
Keen to hear thoughts on how a suitor will value our in ground asset. $45 oz on 15m oz is still a huge multi-bag from here.

JR has stuck a load in EML and has already started ramping.... he’s ‘hoping’ for 30p ffs.
If genuine and who knows... he needs counselling and or to talk to a friend.

I can absolutely guarantee you that any suitor will not,
Yes progress price increases are positive but don’t forget Pd was less than $1k 18 months back.
Complicated historical averages and forecasts will be used in any offer.
Gold which is considered volatile is a hundred time’s more stable than Pd.

There is nothing preventing a punt from another company but reading that RNS it can only be reasoned that the BoD are only in discussions with AAL. They would have to confirm via RNS if anyone else was engaged.... and they haven’t.
