I crossed checked my assumptions for logic and accuracy and I can confirm that the answer to "how does inventory monetisation work with SYME?" is simple.

It doesn't. They have no clients. The share is suspended. They have legal action being taken against them. They are relying on a bankrupt company to give them enough cash to be a going concern before SYME is consumed into BURU leaving shareholders with nothing. They are also relying on the guy from the IT crowd to do an opaque deal with an Italian company to get its first client outside a test by BPM Banco some time ago.

Perhaps you remember that one? You were proclaiming the taps would be opened before ramping SYME stock claiming that BPM Banco were going to actually buy out SYME.

I dare anyone to read the Beyond SPX article and believe that either BURU or SYME are going to survive and if they did by some fluke that the shareholders wouldn't be diluted into oblivion.

If SYME receives its $2 million by next Friday the auditor will then be able to assess if it is a going concern whilst at the same time confirming that the accounts are a true reflection of the companies finances. That could take a week or a month. If they are satisfied and the accounts are published the suspension can be lifted. The uncertainties are if they are willing to put their name to the accounts and if the money from the bankrupt company turns up.

My suspicion is that this won't come out of suspension but you never know.

None of what TwoGood posts is based on realities. It is straw clutching at best and nefarious at worst. I wouldn't mind so much if it was on topic. But it never is. It is about BURU, a stock TwoGood has interests in. SYME is way down the chain.

Time after time this odius individual has stated as fact that golden power was going to granted on X date and simply moved the date when it didn't happen. Time and again deals, cash etc etc were indicated as nailed on to promote FOMO. None of it has happened.

Why does a company operating in a cash rich, low risk environment need SYME? Call it what you will, inventory monetisation or whatever. A company needing SYMEs services (of which thus far there has been one) needs liquidity. The defence market has that already and borrowing for the very reason stated, would be competitive.

Ergo. SYME hasn’t got a decent value proposition and would ADD risk to a business imo.

I'm a little suspicious of the word "tasked". When I tasked my sales team to sell X million in sales for the year it didn't mean they had delivered such.

Is this a task or an actual contract? How was that created as the JV has only just been put in place, making any contract hard to believe.

Meanwhile, as this is the seat dog SYME and not the dead dog Nuburu I would highlight that US $1,000,000 is due today. My guess, and I know this may shock , is that it wont get paid.

I would also highlight stage 3 - If it took 6 months for the golden power approval to be categorically rejected on the terms given why would anyone believe that a bankrupt company can pull off the takeover in the next 3 months? Forget December because nothing gets done and Two Good, drawing on his vast experience of Italian law and national stereotypes has declared that everything runs slowly in Italy. I would also ask what frame of reference people have regarding the "further regulatory approvals". If the criteria being set is unknown how can it be described as "on track". In fact, it is potentially worse than that. It could be that BURU don't know what they need to deliver to achieve their desired goal. It could be that the board of Tekne will be using the JV to see the cut of BURUs jib and if it doesn't amount to anything they may conclude that the takeover is actually not in the interests of the company, let alone the country.

This is rich coming from Two Good, however, I will answer. Yes, it is partially ego. I enjoy being right. My career has been based on me spotting changes and niches before others do and it has served me well.

Adapting this skill to understanding business (and politics) is a skill that has given me a very nice life. A nice enough life that I have no need to gamble on penny stocks. During Covid I lost a fair chunk due to boredom and following hype rather than my normal due diligence. I also made a chunk when I did my normal due diligence.

So as someone who procrastinates , loves business (and the process of growing businesses) but hates social media I created a little hobby. Choose 5 companies on LSE that were being massively ramped but after some due diligence I thought were downright dog excrement. So I did.

Now when I should be writing a report, or when I am on a boring Teams meeting or when I am down on the beach watching the world go by (I semi retired at 50) I look in and comment when I see someone trying to ramp what is a dog share.

My record?

ODX, SYME and AMGO are still listed but this and AMGO is basically a zombie that needs to be put of their misery. Shareholders aren't going to recover imo. ODX (now SYME) had a fire sale and has a small chance. The other two - NNN and Superdry went under.

I feel sorry for people that have been mugged by this stock but some people deserve to lose everything. You're one of them because I think you're a scumbag. The really fun bit that keeps me coming back? Being able to tell you I told you so.

Stop stating the obvious Trevor. Two good by his response demonstrates he doesn't have a clue. The key here is that the defence market is cash rich. If it needs cashflow then financing is cheaper because it's about as low risk as you can get.
